Thread: Crimson Razor Cats
Yeah, the payoff on a CRC mission is really very poor in relation to the danger and difficulty. Sharnaffs are much easier to take on than CRCs, and they pay 10-11k.
You can find razor cat prides all along the coast of the Eastern Corellian sea SE of Doaba Guerfel.
If you find babies, you will find female razor cats, and they have an uncanny ability to break maskscent. Make sure your clone data has been updated before attempting to tame a crimson razor cat (baby).
The catch with CRCs in combat, though, is that they have much less tanking ability than GSPs or GWs. The plus is they hit much harder than the other two kitties. I use mine as a damage dealer on low-to-mid level mobs and on NPCs, but he doesn't come out of the pad on adventure worlds very often, because they won't hold up to much punishment.
did you set one of your specials as an autoattack? that has happened to some, if not then welcome to the club. while on endor each baby i approached with maskscent on, agroed and attacked me way before i got close enough to click the tame icon, this was without an auto attack selected. so if that is your case too then dont feel odd, babies all now have rabies!
Go to Doaba Guerfel, head SE about 2000m to the shores of the Eastern Corellian Sea.
Lots of CRCs running around on the beaches, and a bit inland.

There is a server border issue with lairs that will produce Tamable = No mobs. You will even find Babies that are listed this way. It is the number 1 producer of the 'Can't tame that' issue.
As for the Crimson Razor Cats.....
5500 4100 Corellia. There are CRCs running around like mad in this area. This is where the City of Droid Mecca is located, on Test Center. I am plagued by CRCs trying to kill off my crafters, when I stop at my factories just on the edge of town, or try to place a new structure on the city outskirts.

I just pulled out my CRC and did an /examine, and it says tamable: yes.
I actually tamed a few last week along those beaches. None of them happened to have specials, though.
