Just a quick question:

Reading though this thread the majority of people seem to be fixating on the high health levels of CL20-30 pets.. eg how it's a marvellous thing that a CL25 has 7k health etc. My question is what's the point in getting CL20-30's with high health? With the combat mechanics, it doesn't matter if the pet has 200k health, as the mechanics automatically adjust the damage the pet takes compared to the lvl of the thing it's fighting.. eg if you put up a CL22 narglatch against a CL80 voritor it doesn't matter if it has 3k or 7k health, it's not going to last 5 seconds...

I'm just confused as to why everyone seems to be wooing over high-HAM/low-CL pets so they can retain the hunting trio? Surely it's better to go for one single high-CL pet now seeing as the combat mechanics will guarantee that a higher level pet gets hit for much less thana trio of 20-somethings will?

Feel free to tell me if i'm smoking crack or something - just I figured CL was the most important factor now?

the trick to using the cl22 pets as a trio is to make sure they are grouped if they are and u are cl80 they will fight as cl 80 my 3 nargs when grouped do about 120 damage a hit to a cl 80-82 opponet and if i send them against a cl 80 creature without helping them they will tear it to shreds and one will bne only at about half health

After the recent patches all the "elite" pets should have the < > around their ham bar when targeted..

Wormed Vorbal - ? (havn't seen one yet butI know they are single spawn only) - Rori

On second note. Creatures like the Prowling gurreck that spawn in single and pack spawns do not seem to be elite. The difference is, is that my prowling gurreck (56) and my swampstalkers (30) have pretty much similar stats.... (but the swamp stalkers have much more Health)

i am surprised that the GSP isn't considered Elite

Actually I prefer elite as some "rare random" status, which means all creatures has elite status but maybe like 1% of the total population.
