Since publish 7, it will say tamable if the creature type ever spwns babies, not just if that individual is tamable. considerably more useful.

Consider yourself lucky - they're extinct on my server. I can't find anybody who's seen one since the pre-player city days. Read: Player cities destroy spawning zones.

I think they're gone on Gorath. They're corellian, right? I'm a native of corellia since launch day and have never seen one, adult or baby.

I am sort of new to CH and came across a Great Plains Stalker. It says Tameable. If/when I have the skills I can tame a full grown one? Or does it still need to be a baby? (which is probably not likely)

They live on Naboo, and they're still there on Lowca at least. Certainly not plentiful, but they are solitary hunters, so they are hard to find. I've seen maybe 10 in the past couple months. But never a baby.

Correct. In fact, I'm out looking for one now. 
The plains hunters are the red solitary cats on Naboo.

Plains hunters are easy to find (no babies though) Just find me near one of my harvesters in the wild and you will find a plains hunter near me eyeing me for possible dinner

Yeah, I have no problem finding plains hunters. I went looking for them a while back just because I wanted to be absolutely sure they weren't spawning babies anymore. I found around 14 spawns in 2-3 hours. That versus plains stalkers of which I've seen a grand total of 0 since I started playing in July. Of course, I don't spend a whole lot of time on Corellia so that's part of the trouble.

all the ones i've seen have been near kor vella. i believe it was to the north past the akuan (sp?) caves in the plateaus. never seen a a baby though.

Heh I haven't had much luck finding these on Tempest either. Went to SWGCreatures and got some waypoints, but there is a player city right in the middle of where they are supposed to spawn. I dont have much luck with rares anyway. I have been trying for a long time to get a Mantigrue Screecher and haven't seen 1 baby. Then the other day a buddy of mine goes out and gets on on the first lair he tried. I think critters are scared of us rodians though, thanks to all the stories of a group of little grey perverts who look a lot like us.
