Ahhh, wonderful. another who feels the same as I do. for those who havea problem with the current system, tough, deal or quit. or you can try a new profession: "fondling myself watching the 6 o-clock news."

How about a quick grow special.
Waiting to level up a brack for a mount or a larger pet because you have to "grind" it totally bites a the ballpark frank. All they did was replace small weaker babies with small adults unable to grow in size for a casual player. Ah theres the crux "the casual player" CH is no longer as much fun for a causual player since you need to be a powergrinder to even experience your pet growing upbefore your eyes. Pets are nothing but a combat time sink now.
Its time to stop clapping and praising them for all these beautiful skills when all they have done is turn CH into a FS Village grind and removed one of the most fun aspects about CH, Babies do not exist regardless of the titles on the pet and growth based on combat is about as exciting as fondling myself watching the 6 o-clock news.
Sorry but this new system has totally turned me off of being a CH and I am considering my lastrespec and leaving. I have been a CH since the Fall of 2003 and while I don't post much I have always enjoyed this class for many reasons. Untill now that it. The CH class has become popular to many newer players and soe decided to keep em grinding longer to keep em playing and then people here thanked them for it. A grind is not a game.
I'l post in another thread "maybe the dailybug thread about pet xp" lol pet xp = even pets must earn xp now doesn't that say it all. Totally disgusting and unacceptable.
/end rant
Then please leave and don't let the door hit ya in the backside on the way out.
I'm gettin tired of all the cry babies in this forum now. Grow up and learn how to deal with change people! After all that is the only thing in life you can be certain of....change!!!

Someone posted this a long time ago ... an I loved the idea... Sorry if someone else posted this but don't have time right now to read all these posts.
The idea is if a Jedi throws his lightsaber the pet would run after it an grab it an then run away..... LOL I would really love to see this ability
Root, root, root, and if i forgot to say it, root. I'm a MBH/MCH. So that leaves me without root as other bh templates have. Would love to have root. Please make sure that is on the list.
Taunt might be useful under fire. Have your bet taunt , like an area attack all enemies attack and chase your pet so you could get away. Not sure about that one, just a thought. I'd probably use it against random stormtrooper squads i might run into during inopportune moments.

- Pin attack (Lvl- 1,2,3)
- Imperiling Feint (Lvl- 3)
- Fleet Footed (Lvl- 3)
Disarm
An attack that would unequip a weapon from a target and prevent them from re-equiping it for a brief period of time.
Harrass
An attack that would prevent the target from using any specials (or maybe just prevent heals) for a brief period of time. (aka: police attack dogs)
Rescue/Retrieve
An ability that would allow pets to drag incapped players or fetch items (ie; loot) from corpses or containers. When the command was given with something targeted the pet would go to targeted corpse and either loot it or drag it back to its owner.
Stalk
Would allow pet to go in cover or cloak until it attacked.
Fearsome Howl
An ability used in combat to force mobs to possibly retreat away.
Beast of burden
Would allow the pet to be used as a vendor for those that can use them normally so they could sell there wares on site at different locales. Maintenance would have to be payed and be current in order to pull the pet out or access its contents, or for others to access its contents.
Playful antics
When a pet with this ability was used in conjunction with an entertainer giving a buff the buff would be 1-3% stronger or longer, with 1-3 determined by the level of the ability on the pet.
Soothing nature
When grouped with this pet you would slowly heal wounds.
And of course...
Poison and disease dots

how about bringing in some of the new SL group buff abilities? Watered down versions, of course, unless they're pet-only or pet-and-CH-only buffs
Pack Hunter - Increases damage, accuracy, and/or attack speed of the rest of the "pack" (group)
Lead Runner - Increases movement rate of the pack
Pack Instinct - Increases defense and/or armor of the pack
Grooming - Increases regen rates of the pack
Group Hunting - Spreads part ofdamage delivered to group members out among group members (like Self-Sacrifice, but turned around)
Alpha Male - Increases health of the pack
and maybe some triggered targeted buffs too....
Taste of Blood - Increases damage dealt to target for some interval
Swarm Attack - Each hit from group slows target's movement and rate of fire slightly for 2-3 seconds (ie each hit resets timer, not additive, though each creature's swarm attack would stack with each others)
Decoy Attack - Decreases damage dealt by the pet that activates this ability, increases defense of that pet. Increases damage of all other pets in group. (like Raptors in Jurassic Park, one draws the target out while the others ambush)
Feeding Frenzy - All pets in group regenerate health as a percentage of the damage they do against target (20%?)
And you can take the ideas from that point onward. These kinda things would really benefit MCHs who have 3 pets out at a time
im not a CH but adding that MCHs can shoot/attackwhile ridinga mount would be very nice (no slow down from the pet after entering combat, perhaps special shot using aswell while riding a mount)
that would enhance the hole CH perhaps it need to be balanced (if attacking from a pet, the other pets couldnt do that much dam or something like that, but a must is that the pet still walks faster as a player can [only this make it a good change] )
also would be nice to see that the pet is attacking the enemy you are attacking[while riding a pet]
Revenge for the Master: upon incap of CH, a pre-determined pet summons from the datapad and attacks.
Empathetic retreat: While incapped, a CH can control the pet.
Breed (hybrid): Sort of like the Shipwright reverse engineering skill. Taking two creatures and 'combining' them to get the best of their stats,ie highest damage and highest hp for example.
(no, I'm not bitter about being ganked for three weeks by Sith Outcasts).
Also not really abilities but: Flying creature mounts.
