Torn between fun names and good names I've used the following:

• My first GSP trio: Sunshine, Buttercup, and Rainbow


• My current GSP trio: Chum, Churn, and Chafe


• Pair of Graul Maulers: Sid and Nancy


• Giant Carrion Spat: Drumstick


• Gurreck: Rhine

As I progress and acquiremore pets I'll be using more Star Warsy names, although I'll probably always keep a fun trio to use for entertainment.

Steve – mountain squill (34) - need a new name but he reminds me of a friend

Envy, Gluttony, Anger, Greed, Sloth, Lust – graul maulers (34) - Pride is my middle name

I agree that there are some really unimaginative names out there. My pets are named:

Graul - Martyr (he's a sacrifice to the melee gods, I may name a second Sacrifice)
Grand Wrix - Offspring (named after my cat)
GSP - Smee and Wetworks (Smee after another of my cats, Wetworks for the military meaning of the term meaning to be right in the "bloody" action)

Savage Quenkers - BlackHalo and Stillborn (just because)

Dalyrake Harvesters - Scythe and Balisong (and Switchblade) for knife or blade-like weapons, Balisong is a martial arts name for a butterfly knife.

Lesser Bol - Saraya

Mountain Squill - Scratch (cuz the first thing he did when I tamed him was scratch his a$$)

Blood-stained Merek - Crossbones (because he's got that white face that looks like a skull)

And while I think the names are cool and original, not named after comic characters, literary figures, or your favorite band or TV show, I am guilty of one name that could be considered cliche....

I named my Carrion Spat... Wishbone.
