Thread: Most cliche pet names?
Yeah, I've seen my share of cliche'd names...but I have one or two I suppose..
My merek is named Bonzo (as in "Bedtime for...")
Two brackasets, Sherman and Abrams
My RSMynocks, Peregrine and Kestrel (closest things to falcons that I've found...)
My Thune, Babar (was TOO appropriate not to!)
Over on Bria, we tend to name our ducks and spats after motorcycles, the bols and dewies are cars, and bracks are tanks...ONLY CH's can ride the HumVee (humbaba)
I will agree to Grauls and Rancs being called Fluffy...how trite....they should be called "Cuddles"...
Three GSP's named Winken, Blinken and Nod
Two BDQ's named Muck and Mire
A Mountain Squill named Hithere
A Mountain Dewie named after my evil twin Skippy.

Nobody disputes peoples right to be unoriginal, we are just sharing for our mutual amusement. If you don't have a sense of humour maybe you can rent one somewhere, or maybe just skip over the post headers that don't look to be serious topics.
I've never seen a spat named Joust before I laughed when I saw that posted here. I have seen lots of spats named KFC and various other duck and chicken names.
They are named Mercedes. :-)

Swiftwind -- Jungle Fynock on one server, Sulfer Pool Mynock on another
Bradley -- Mountain Krevol (he was too small to name Abrahms.)
Ok... my names are always AncientEgyptian (ala me being Khufu):
Graul Mauler #1-> Pharaoh
Graul Mauler #2 -> Imhotep
Giant Carrion Spat Mount -> Khafre
Gualama -> Rah
Brackaset (sp?) Mount -> Chariot
Other names I have used:
For GSP, Wrix, or Razor Cats -> Cleo, Cairo, & Sphinx
Mounts -> Giza, Tut, & Dahshur
Tanks -> Menkaure, Sneferu, & Osiris
It's probably my single most satisfying thing in the game to find unique names for my pets. One of the best names I have seen is Porthos for Kaadu mount. I'm toying with the idea of using Plethora for a pet's name as well. Anyway my two cents worth...

My Greater Sludge Panther was named Bubastis, but he's gone now.
I tamed a Pugoriss I created (Master BE/Master CH) and named it Uglier. Then I made another, tamed it and named it Ugliest. They really are horrible looking pets. I love 'em. Here's hopingthey're mountable, asthey use the Kaadu skeleton and animations. CL5 and growing.

1. He's big
2. He's hairy
3. He's ugly
4. He has a masters in Education (he skools them durni's on who is boss)
