Well now that the XP cap is fixed (took WAY too long) both my wife and I have been moving up the Creature Handler tree. Things are actually going fairly well right now. We are able to take outthings that are several levels above us and can handle a few of the same level creatures at a time. We're really enjoying being creature handlers right now.

I'm only a 1/1/1/1 at the moment and my wife is 1/2/0/1, and our only issue right now is that I'm fighting with a 10th level Cupa and she's fighting with a 12th level Dappled Guama because we're leveling faster than our creatures can grow. This is going to slow down now that double XP weekend is over and it's the normal work week. We'll still be fighting with Grumples and Blondie for a few more days until our creatures grow.

I was just curious, where is the best place to find level 20-30 creatures? What is the lowest level Rancor that we can get? Are there any type of Torton that are tamable? What are some good creatures in this level range that look realitively large?

Thanks a bunch.

Some advice that could be helpful to you...

hehe. i ended up coming back toCH now that the cap is fixed. I started this character after the CU and picked CH as my profession of choice. Then i found the xp cap and couldnt respec past it, so i was patient for a week and a half, but then i dropped CH.After that, I went ahead and mastered scout and then mastered ranger. I was a MR for only a week (that profession is WAY too nerfed to cost that many SP)then dropped it to grind CH during double xp weekend. Grinding CH is VERY easy if you know how to do it. I mastered CH in maybe 6 hrs total time during double xp week. head to dant mo and find a bol group. Just take mission after mission and you will get FAST xp (even without double xp)(get an entertainer buff for an extra 10% xp). Oh yeah, I did it all with the lvl 12 squill that i trained as a novice So.... my suggestion to you is to spend the next 3-5 days grinding CH to master, then you will be able to train anything from lvl 1 to 70 As for your other questions, i have no idea cause ive only been a CH for a few days

as a MCH i would agree with NnahOlos, by the time your likely to find a good 20-30 pet by searchin you could rip Dant to shreds. i would also suggest Torton or Huf Duns if you prefer to solo or go hunting just the two of you, they give great xp, dont aggro (as long as you stay away from the 'vicious' stuff) and drop like leaves in autum, especially if you are grouped

Well the wifes not really interested in joining big hunting groups, nor is she interested in grinding. She's more interested in exploring, discovering new things, and taming cute creatures. So it will take us a while to become MCH's, in the meantime, I was just curious where the best spot to find 20-30 level creatures are.

Thanks,

Naboo might be a good place to roam for 20-30 creatures. Naboo is famous right now for the level 22 elite Narglatch. They aren't exactly the cutest pet in the game, but they have extremely nice stats for the creature level.

Hopefully the Narglatch does more than 240 max damage. I am getting tired of taming higher level creatures only to find out that level 18 level creature does as much damage and has the same speed rating as a level 12 creature, give or take two points.

I can now tame lvl 20 creatures and have the first box to allow me to tame aggressive creatures. I can only hope that a level 20 creature is better than a level 14 creature.

Yes, get the narglatch....and you'll still be using it at MCH...

So heading to Naboo and taming them will be your best investment right now. They are CL22 elite, they do max damage over 300 (maybe 375 or so, I can't remember).
