It appears that certain creatures have a tendency to have certain Abilities, when tamed. At this time, it is unknown if some creatures will only have 1 type of Ability, due to low numbers of testing.

Someone said they had huurton huntresses give Frenzied Blitz (L2) and Bleeding Attack (L2) [different tames]. Since pre-CU pets could have a special 1 and a special 2, we might see more of this as time goes by.

What I am more curious about is if high level creatures can get a special from a larger pool than two, and if those that do can start with multiple specials.

The highest wild CL pet I've tamed so far on Publish 21 is a Level 67 angler hatchling. It only came with one ability: Cowering Vigilance (L2). Again, I guess anything is possible. But my impression is that pets only come with zero or one ability to start out.

So tonight I think I'll be scouring the galaxy for something with Fleet Footed (L1). My character name is Vert if anyone feels like collaborating in game.

Finally learned my L2 bleeding attack. I was using it heavily before I understood that you neededto learn an L1abilitybefore you could learnthe L2 version.

The L1 version of bleeding attack costs 14 points.

The L2 version of bleeding attack costs 32 points.

Hunted Withdrawal (L1 on a peko)
Defensive Agility (L1 on a spiked krevol)
