Creature Handler Archive

There will be a special variant of each of the 6 "mountable" creatures that is CL 10. In this way, all non-CH players can have a mount and it can be any one of the six choices.

sorry i havent read all of the replies to this so if somone has already answered this question my bad.

any way my starsider character is training to be a MCH and a MSwordmen, and im a bit worried as far as combate while mounted is going to work.

has anyone tried mounts on test center that is also a Melee CH? and if so how does it work?

will i have to dismount every time i need to bash some skulls in with my power hammer?

would i be better off switching to a ranged profession?

Is it just me or are mounts coming out before TH's proposed CH changes?

Doesn't this mean until the CH changes go in, Non-CH players will only be able to use kaadus & spats?

personally i am not selling any I am keeping them for myself because like others have said I really do not want to see very noob on the block with one. To all of you selling yes gouge there bank accounts empty this will keep the servers from having 45 guys in coronet sitting on a dewback. I say the same to boiengineers too charge at least a 100k.

Im just using the bone armor gouge as an example, even if i didn't get gouged for bone armor i would still be gouging for my mounts thatI plan to sell. You should take an economics class, don't you know that when demand goes up, prices go up? We Creature Handlers do not have enough room to supply a mount to every player on day one of mount patch, so to slow the demand we need to increase the price so that we can keep up.

Raising the price doesn't slow the demand any more than not even having the pets in your datapad would. It doesn't matter if you don't have the pet to sell or if your charging too much for them to pay, they'll still want the pet. Gouging has nothing to do with slowing demand. Gouging is nothing more than being greedy and screwing the customer.

You seem to have no trouble remembering the crafters that gouged you. So see how you like it when everyone that you gouge remembers you when you need new armor, weapons, stim packs, buffs, food, etc.

If you want people to treat you fairly then you better be willing to do the same.

I plan on charging 30K to train a creature to be a mount if they supply the pet. I'll charge an additional 1k / adult cl on top of that price if I supply the pet.

I don't believe in gouging other players, but there is also NO REASON for us to give away a means for this profession to make some credits and the price I plan on selling them for seems very fair.

There are many players who scream anti-ch and everyone on here complains about them, but in fact those who plan on giving away mounts or selling them at a very low price are degrading and cheapening our profession from the inside out .. which is worse?

Mounts will be interesting. I have already made 15 Kaadus sitting patiently in my house. They are dam easy to make for Bio eng. Ill probably be selling these for around 20-25 k, but for guildies free. I am also a Master Ch, so i expect that there will be some money to be made. I am concerned though, of the higher end mounts? of how the Cl will work for them, so guess will have to see what Cl a mountable Dewback or Brac, will be. I guess, i could make dewbacks if i wanted, but have only gone of second teir in bio to make food suppliments for guildies chef, and bio eng tapes for clothing enhancements. The addition of the mounts, will definatly have an affect on my pocketbook, as i have only every sold stupid rock beetles for 5 k per. My only concern is there is already a guy on Eclipse advertising for selling mounts for 10k, thus undercutting but guess thats up to him. For just plain training one, ill charge around 3k.

Guido'Mar, LOL at that price he will sell out quickly and he can only have at most 16 of them. So the rest of us Eclpise MCH's will just sell to all those left for what we see fair.. I was thinking 30K myself... Heck at that price maybe I should just buy all his and turn around and sell them for 30K myself....
