Thread: Calling for a Vote of No Confidence Against Vertexon.

I vote no confidence in the SOE management in having a clue in how to run, and prioritise what needs to be done in this game
I vote no confidence in the DEVS in knowing how to properly TEST their codeing (proper testing would prevent most of the bugs)
I vote no confidence in Blunder Heart as community relations manager for proveing time and time again he has no tact in dealing with people. He has insulted numerous professions for doing just what they were ment to do within the codeing of the game.
I vote no confidence in the communication network between SOE manangement through the devs, to TH to the correspondents to Us. The "we are not allowed to talk about this" gets real old. The weekly roundtable discussions are dead the last one is from 6/28
the 19 questions lasted a whopping 2 full rounds.
I loved this game, Pluto and I worked our asses off to achieve what we wanted to achieve, being a MCH, not hologrinding Jedi, or being the FTOM profession. But we truly enjoyed the challeng of tameing new pets. Unfortunately SOE management decided Content= Jedi and things for jedi to do, and JTL. If this was their plan they should have waited 1 year and released SWG and then JTL a few months later, not this half assed, poorly planed, mismanaged game.
I will see you on battlegrounds. At least that is Lucasarts and not SOE.

Those questioning Vert keep claiming that she is only representing a minority. I see that only 3 are making that claim so it seems the minority group is the one making those claims. I can't tell you if Vert talks to the devs or not, I'm not in her shoes. I can tell you that spamming the internal boards every day won't get you answers it will get you disliked. These correspondents are volunteers and don't work for SOE. They have to work within a framework we are not aware of so all the whining about the situation and false claims of how poorly the correspondents are doing is senseless and certainly not based on any knowledge or facts.
I've read these boards since I started this game 3 months ago and I've seen the same complaints and whining while SOE finds fit to add features even Vert wasn't informed of. She tried hard to get answers and was ignored, so how would you do differently with no information?
CH is fine. The biggest complaints come from those who remember some glory days of the past. Well those days are gone and I'm having fun with the profession today. If you can't forget the past and enjoy what you have then find another profession in the game. There are only another 20 or so to chose from. Whining gets my son grounded not rewarded and the developers deal with it in much the same fashion, think about it.

Wrong on so many levels
My response to your four points
A.) It is ok to have a real life and should have a real life away from this game.
B.) Vert represents every ch that isin BEAST that now spreads across 10 servers. I personally vouch for vert's integrity anddevotion to ch. Further I know many CH whether in BEAST or not value Verts post and respect her.
C.)Vertposts frequently and all posts are always positive to the profession. Vert has also attends our BEAST meetings regularly and has spoken about the state of the profession and what she is trying to dofor it.
D.) The status of CH profession may not be what it once be but is still an enjoyable and rewarding profession.
This is a bad post and is very negative to the profession.
I strongly support Vert and as long as she wants to be a CH Correspondent and always will.

You are entirely correct that specifically "I" am not clairvoyant. "I" cannot know with 100% foreknowledge that anything would be better or worse. If I could do that maybe I could have saved Miss Cleo.
I have offered up my perceptions (faulty or not). The only response is that, Vert has always been there for us. In a years time, I can honestly say I have not seen it.
In much shorter than that time I have seen SOE state that they never had a plan for a Combat Revamp. This cannot go unanswered for CH's.
I have seen many times people requesting Facts on spawn rates. Even if the answer were simply "yes they are working as intended". If it were I, (I say this simply because my mettle was challenged) there would be an answer by now. If for no other reason, I would spam the proper boards daily until I got it.
Where are the answers? We have all asked many questions but never an answer.
One may not be corelated to the other, but imho opinion, the Correspondent Program was designed for answering questions.
To reflect back on another statement someone else brought up, if you misuse your power to any extent then it is wrong. Even if it is only one time and one area of management. I could run the most sound business in the world but one sexual harrassment charge is still just that. An abuse of power.

If I volunteer to feed my neighbor's dog for a month and do not do it am I wrong? It is a game I understand. There are real life issues. I understand. But he has brought this up before as a reason he did not post. If he is inactive for any great length, CH suffers.

Interesting point. Maybe if I joined Beast then we could get spawn rates changed. Or maybe this is a good ol boys PA? Secondly, I did not say he does not have followers. I am certain that he does.

See I fail to see the point. Is Vert only pressing BEAST issues?

That is all you really had to say. Your reasons are your own. If I had the Correspondent in my hip pocket, I am sure I would love them too. You have easily slide down a slippery slope in proposing that Vert meeting you in game is equal to meeting the CH's on the forum. If this is truly the case we can see where Vert is wrong. It is only the BEAST philosophy he is pushing. Not OURS as a whole. Thank you for the clarification.

OK how about this , There much big problems in the Ch world than the rare Pet . hope that is plain and simple anuff for you . and it is not like Vertexon has Th ear or personel phone # to call . Dev make's the Call not Vertexon. it is a very thankless job, and you are not helping putting these kind of Crap .

Why do you want one? It isn't because they are the best, you have already said that you don't think they are the best. You want it because it is a rare. If it was made common so you could easily get one, then it wouldn't be a rare anymore. If you don't have a combat profession, get some good BE pets. They are much better than wild. You say that I don't have an argument, but I have the best one of all. Most people like to always have something to shoot for, and for many of us, it is those rare pets. No rare pets, nothing left to shoot for. For me, I can live with the idea that I may never get some or most of the rares. It is you that can't live with the idea that someone else somewhere in the game might end up with something you can't get. Get over it, rares are good for the game and the class.

At it again 9moons? Why the change in signature? posting your brand of muck wear the other one a bit thin? And what have you done for the ch community other than cast darkness on it from countless negitive posts like this one.

To answer your question. I want just one rare. That's it. And only because it's a Rancor. That's the only reason. I already have about the best BE pets you can get. I don't want it because it's rare, or for a trophy. Bragging rights are not of concern to me. And I DO have a combat profession.
Rares are not content. Grinding hundreds of lairs is not content. You get over it, because you have no arguement and having the most rare things in game are not good for the game. When all other professions have nothing compared to this rarity. When Jedi are more common, things are screwed up.
If rare tameables are the only thing for CH to shoot for, then this profession needs to be removed from the game. It's narrow-minded and unimaginative and uncreative...

I think Vert made a mistake with the comment about rares but other than that Vert has shown to be a hard working correspondant who cares about CH problems as they arise.
Go get em Vert.

Ya know, I've given several rares away, They may be rare but the stats don't cut it. If we're going to have a pet in this game that is as hard to get as these, then give us something thats worth it, give me a pet that is at least as good as what BE's cook up.
I can see the points in this, if you have a bit of luck, you want them to stay uber rare. If you're one that has banged 800 nests and never seen a rare of course then you want the spawn changed.
I guess that as long as I know they're actually in the game the spawn rate is good. BUT! the end product in many cases isn't worth the time from a usable pet viewpoint. When they make rares with good stats then the hunt will be on. Until then it's when I get bored and feel like seeing how lucky I am.

3 accounts gone. This one is done within the next 24 hours. We have often disagreed. I commend you for having your opinion. You know as well is I do that I shoot from the hip. I stand my ground. But occassionally I have even apologized for being wrong.
Reason for name change is just as I described. I no longer pay for any account. Hopefully someday I can return to a much changed game. It is unlikely I will.
The final matter with Vert is just as it always has been. I see Vert as two faced. Anyone who cannot fight for CH in public is likely not fighting for it behind closed doors.
As I make my exit into the sunset, I still am fighting for the good of CH. There are issues that Vert feels from a personal perspective he/she/it is not worth asking about.
To prove a point, Vert has been asked before about spawn rates and said "I will check into it" but now makes a stance that it is not worth it. This flip flop in attitude does more harm to CH from a correspondent point of view. He/She/It has lied to us in the traditional SOE way.
Vert has become institutionalized. This will affect my beloved profession long after I am gone.
Just so we are clear more beloved people such as Tivo specifically walked away over this very issue of rares. Albeit he was gone for about a week or so. Tell me it would not crush your heart to see Tivo walk away over such and issue. The outcry was more back then before the real hard core tamers got what they wanted. People followed Tivo's rare posts on the edge of their seats, much like watching the first 72 hours of the PErsian Gulf War on CNN. Even watching his search induced such reactions as feeling like it was really you and you had something invested in the search itself.
For me, 8 months on Dantooine and no Frenzied Graul is a serious crushing blow. I can guarantee you I wanted that more than anyone wanted a Bull Rancor.
Hate me if you will that is your choice. I cannot take blame for what you choose over me reactions.
Secondly, I have never seen you make a more developed post such as the Corral Thread or the Dev/CH peace accord. So for those who challenge what I could do to live up to this, I have tried. And for over a month. Other long time CH's who have followed my writings know it was not alway merely venom and vinegar.
This is my final day Sad. I wish you, gala, Tivo and hell any others that may have hated me, (yes even Vert) better luck in this game than it brought me.
I just wish to point out that some of the other more articulate people are gone. Real voices of the community.

But I am certain that if one were to follow the analogy of presidential elections, you would see that in crushing economic times we change presidents. This is important to see that CH is going no where quick under any of the current administration. And knowing that Vert is saying that he/she/it will bring something up but is now making some awkward power play to say "I will not bring it up because I do now want to" is unthinkable. Vert IS the Correspondent. It is his/her/its job to bring things up.
For those who say Vert is active...Show me where. Certainly not here IN THE CH FORUM. Hell P9M has more post over the short registry time than Vert. Plutos9moon had half as much and it isn't even my job.
Do not tell me I have not tried because I have. I am on record for trying. Vert is not.
Lurking IS NOT trying.
I do not mean to lessen what BEAST does stand for, I hope it can do lots of positive things for CH. But showing up for every BEAST meeting and concurring like a psycophant is not the same as being the CH correspondent. IF all he/she/it does is concur with everything then what chance do we stand at Austin. Again, my point is Vert should go to Austin, as a meager reward for doign this for a year. But it is also my belief that Austin should be Vert's last stint as CH Correspondent.
PS for those who say why are you still posting here if you are quitting. It would have been my hope that my 50 cents for this day could be used to further the CH cause. For the past month now I have still tried. I paid for another whole month just to try. Love me or hate me, I stood for CH. And unlike some I stood for Novice CH's when others were saying "the hell with them I am a Master now".
