You think commanding your pets is annoying Hastur? Try being a melee fighter with a range of six meters where latency puts you at twelve. And if you end up closer to the mob than your pet, you end up tanking (it won't run, but as I use neither buffs nor armor, I die and they still end up running).

For melee professions, it's far worse than what you experienced. I really feel for the non-combat Handlers out there.
