Thread: New Expansion

It doesn't say anything the other pre-order rewards.
TH has been asked point blank about this and said basically "we will comment as soon as possible" so I would recommend not pre-ordering until SOE give a clear answer.
For this LA are simply a retailer and since I for one never got my flash speeder I wouldn't trust a retailer until I got clear word from SOE that they approved fully the retailer.
The difference here is that Trials of Obi-Wan is download only. Everyone gets it from SOE in the long run, regardless of whose website they ordered from. All SOE has to do is to record the serial numbers of all those cards they charge on October 25 and they know exactly who receives the pre-order bonus and who doesn't. They don't have to depend on a player registering a preview CD or buying direct from the Station Store or anything like that.
As far as I know, the skiff is the only pre-order bonus. The lava flea and the bunker house are bonus items that are received by everyone who buys the expansion. Considering that SWG-Goliath has said he designed the house very recently, I'd guess that the materials sent to the marketing monkeys at LucasArts didn't include information about bonus items because they hadn't been finalized yet.
Looks like the skiff is a bonus for the pre order and the house and bug are for those who order it from SOE.
Otherwise its not too clear but if you get it from them you get all of those things.

You can only get this by downloading it?
Apparently. I haven't heard anything about a hardcopy that you can buy at the store. I tend to think the price is kinda high considering there's no manufacturing or production of discs or packaging, and yet the price is on the high end of an expansion that you'd buy in the store that would have those expenses. In the store, at least, you can often find these kinds of things on sale and save some money off the suggested price. You'd think they'd be saving some money and passing those savings along to the customer, but maybe not...
