speaking of multi seat.. i think it would be cool if they gave Ch the abilty to add carts to our pets. that way we can give rides and such..... it would be cool and fun, we finally could charge people for things again... give a carriage ride from eisley to AH 10k perfect for newlyweds......or have a work cart where if u have ur pet out and u loot stuff, you can store it on the cart, but once ur pet is stored the itmes get lost, so u have to choose and take what u want

Okay they are working on the Exp. now...I am sure that they have 3D artists because they are adding new creatures. Don't be a Kill joy....if they see that we really want it, they might do it.

The new ROTW mount I think is that new Banthathe Dev mentioned in the stratics chat.

My Wishes:

Giant Peko Peko or Lantern bird

Rancor

Any cat large enough to look cool.....like Battle Cat from the Old HE-MAN series (armor of course )

Any Cool horse like creature, Tybis or the Guata

The Fambba or Torton

Flying would be cool!!!

They are adding "new" creatures alright. Check the list, every single one is nothing but a creature already mapped at a different level of scale. The design I am speaking of requires a very intense process. What they are doing here is something anyone with Gmax, Milkshape, or 3Ds Max can do in about 20 minutes.

Note: for anyone who is interested in such things I suggest you check these programs out. Gmax is free but the other two require registration. Milkshape has downloadable tools for converting .cmp and .mat files which is what Sony is using for the ships in JTL. You of course cannot use them online but may be cool to look their designs over. I do not know Sony's stance on this so you may wish to ask them first. Sometimes developers don't mind client-side texture changes but I don't know their programming. You had best ask them first.

Where is this list you refer to? I'm only familiar with the Kashyyykian bantha and the recently anounced Pre-Order Veractyl. The Veractyl can't possibly be a reuse of existing assets, and people are only guessing the Kashyyykian bantha is (we haven't seen any screenshots yet).

Ah, okay. I think I misinterpretedthat as referring to the new creatures from RotW.

yup, but hey Vert if you know sumthin about it..... And the Kashyykian Bantha is going to require at least some minor cosmetic alterring to make for sure. Since it is supposedly without horns it will take a slight modification to the wireframe and maybe even a total rehaul of the skin. Like I said in the list I made of possible mounts they would need some more intensive work to make the saddles for creatures other than the body styles there. Especially in order for them to make a rancor or flying creature mountable.

If they do indeed have the proper staffing to implement such things then here is an idea for you Vert...TELL US! Don't try and make me out to be a fool for speculating when you give us nothing to work with. You want me to work with you then give us some * information. Otherwise let usmake duewith what we have to work with, which isn't much. If you don't like people basing their ideas and opinions off of rumors and guesswork then give us something solid. Beyond doing that you are just feeding the fire of dislike the Devs and Corrs have started in the community.

Everyone here knows how much I know about this stuff. I know what they know, sometimes they know things I don't. You on the other hand, we have no idea what you know. It sucks for sure, just part of your job. I have come to my conclusions based on the meager little bit of knowledge we have been offered. If that is wrong then put it in the Code of Conduct and I won't. When they try and spin "new" creatures to me and they are NOTHING more than the same creatures either smaller or larger and with minor appearance changes then I come to the simple obvious conclusion that they are either not willing or not able to make any real changes to creatures. By basic reasoning one comes to the final conclusion that they do not have the staffing required to make the changes. Other possible reasons include a secretive conclave of these modellers being run right now, or they do not exist. As I said before, SOE has not done anything to show us they deserve us to have faith in them and be optimistic. So therefore the most likely possibility? They don't have the people to make these changes at the level needed by the mountable creature requests here.

I don't make these posts as a rant, I use logic. Change my mind, give me something to be optimistic about and I will be. Find me in game, I am one of the nicest peple around. I just don't like being lied to (rebalance and bug fixes for CH over a year in the waiting, not in sight yet), placated ("new" creatures), or just outright ignored.

Without a voice of discontent, progress stagnates. What can I say? I am taking the role of that voice. Not mad at you, just those you speak for. Not trying to get rid of anyone just trying to keep them from sitting still. I often stand to benefit from many things I oppose here. I don't do it just to argue, arguing makes me unhappy, I do it to effect change.

Whoa, I'm just going on public information myself. The Kashyyykian bantha was announced in that dev chat a month or so ago, and the Veractyl is hyped in Episode III promotional materials.

I apologize for misreading your comments. Thought you were referring tosome sort oflist of RotW creatures that I was unfamiliar with. Please carry on your discussion.

Mounts are docile creatures people, even seigfreid and Roy couldnt put a saddle on a cat. (shakes head at the silly people)

I doubt Roy can do much at the moment after his little run in with his tiger. Anyone know how he's doing...

I say

Kimogila
Greater Sludge Panther
Peko Peko Albatross
Capper Spine Flaps

Davionn Indar (RBN)

just because we express what we want doesnt mean they have to do it. i put down 2 easy ones for them to create as mounts (gualama and tybis) and 2 hard ones (large cats and kimogilla). im allowed to say what i believe would make the game better. of course they have a choice to choose which they want to do, they are the ones creating it after all. But im not going to say oh i want to ride a kwi or whatever just because its easier for them to do. i dont want to ride a kwi i want to ride the above mentioned.

Last I heard he is doing ok considering. Had alot of reconstructive surgery. But needless to say he is fairly crippled. You have to remember that he was already pushing 60 when it happened.
