Sure, attachment to the pets and all that. But that can only hold for so long, now that the currently ONLY use of pets is being removed, the pulling ability, I don't know. I'll keep it until I have the Sense FS xp I need, then I don't know. CH starts to feel like wasted skillpoints right now and I've been aMCH since January 2004, never thought it would ever become worse than the things we've gone through as a profession....I guess someone said that outloud and the devs went "Aha, a challenge."

Well I've packed up my pets in my datapad and i've hit the non-ch road (headed to some other broken professions ) My first mastered profession was MCH, but due to bugs, nerfs, etc I no longer have as much fun with it as I once did. See you on the highway guys/gals.. keep on taming..

Because yes ,You get attached to pets,But also because I grinded too long and Hard to give it up because SOE nerfed it again .

Because I love the look on players faces when I call my level 69 Kimo...

Because my Brackaset saved my Tail when the sith came for me and I was a CL50(Thanks CU) against a CL 75 and CL 77 Sith

all I can say is, Creature Handler till the end (august 4rth)!!!!!! I have been one since I started and I will end my life in SWG as one, with my pets, and will never forget how hard I worked and the accomplishments I made playing this game.

Really good question...

Even though I am very displeased about the way the profession is turning up...and was contemplating dropping it and moving on...I honestly don't think I will be able to.

I started playing a year ago on myALT = Meka and it was one of the first professions I got into. Ended up dropping dancer for it, because I fell in love with it. I liked the whole idea of having pets in game, companions. When I had to leave the game for a while (blah that really sucked) I said that if I ever got the game back again, I would keep it.

Liked running around and traveling to different planets and seeing all the scenery and the creatures.

So when I came back (after I couldn't re-activate Meka...blah)that was the first thing I started working toward, CH. Got Meka back a couple weeks later and trans the pets to Meredith. Safe to say, I still loved it...and the drive was still there I suppose.

I'ma sucker for pets in RL - that's probably whyI love it so much. lol.

I'm pretty attached to my pets too. I Still have my cowardly Gurrek that was my very 1st pet. He's seen a thousand battles and has earned a nice cushy retirement. I still call him out and walk with him when Im running around town or just puttering around the house. A hundred GPS or Bull rancors wouldnt make me get rid of him.

Aside from that I'm staying with MCH out of stubborness and morbid curiosity. Something HAS to be done SOMEDAY, and Ill be there to see it come hell or chinese credit farmers!

Why CH? Why not CH?

PvP is the only reason I see not to CH. There isn't much CH can't do with enough templates. about 80% of the people I seen give up CH is because they can't walk into town and kick BUTT everyone and every thing.

Well even though it is just a game, I never thought it right to have my pets use for PVP. Its rough that npc's can take 2 hits to my friends and I watch them INCAP.

I owe my pets so much, they helped me grind from scout to Master CH. When you go to the populated plantes (TAT,COR, NABOO) all the new players always notice you. I have yet to hear a new player say "I don't want a pet..."

Sadly most of the new players give up on CH, because it isn't any more than TROPHY and title....

So the answer for me is, CH because I really don't feel anything else works in this game all that much better. SWG is being held together by gum, twine, and the hope of all the old players that with time things will get better. Lets all hope with them, cuz we don't have any other choice.

I'm still a MCH because I could never give up my pets. Also, it's a very unique profession, you see less of us than Jedi, pets are quite useful (when not crippled by bugs) and I enjoy having a variety of animals at my disposal for fun/RP/adventure.

I also have faith that our bugs will be worked out and MCH will be a killer profession at some point... hopefully much sooner than later. But I'd never surrender MCH. I'd cancel first.

Well I like haveing my pets fight with me. Was fighting a elite novetrooper commander that spawned near my house. Was useing one of my fang twins and we both were down to our last 100 points but we won. I have thought it might be easier if I droped CH but when it comes down to it a Master CH is what Anobaca the wookiee is.

Also I like driveing people nuts because they just can not understand why I will not drop it. I will have to saw I got real tired of people telling me yo just repec out of CH to another combat profession. I complain not because I hate the profession I do it because I like it
