I'm only NCH, and only just started, but the concept of Creature Handler has been one I liked from the day I first realized what it was. I almost became a CHaround June, but was scared off by all of the horror stories of its brokenness. I wish I had never gotten scared from it. Creature Handler by far is one of the most fun professions in the game to me. There can be no substitute. My only regret is not having gotten to explore much of it. I've never even tamed something and raised it from scratch. My one and only pet currently (besides an advanced R4 unit that I built myself, shortly after Combat Upgrade) is a bol. Not just any bol, but a bol a friend gave me. Gorbash. Gorbash was the first pet she ever tamed, but she liked me enough to entrust him to me. I will miss him, and one of the last things I will do if SOE doesn't turn around and give me reason to keep my subscription, will be to travel to dantooine. I will play with Gorbash for a while, I will tell him that I'll miss him, and then I will release him out into the wild.

And to YoBobby, for most of those who have signed, there is no profession worth mentioning many would rather have. And the removal of Creature Handler isn't the only problem with this 'revamp.' How many of you have heard that once you start a profession, you're stuck with it forever? One of Starwars Galaxies' biggest draws has always been the ability to be who you want to be, to not be restricted by classes. Well, guess what. Not only will you have fewer classes to choose from, you will have no choices for cross-class skills. Meaning you have a 1:9 chance of finding someone in the game who is either exactly like you, or will end up exactly like you very soon. Right now, the numbers might as well be astronomical.

As for contacting the Better Business Bureau, etc, I'm worried. Worried that that annoying little phrase at startup will kill us. You know which one I mean. "Game experience may change during online play." Now, I've always seen that as an add-on to the rating, meaning they can't control what people will say/etc in the game, and there may very well be things done that would bump the rating up to Mature. But its so vague, it would surely be used against any lawsuits. The only defense I can see is the fact that this had to be in development since roughly Combat Upgrade's release. Things this vast don't just spring up in the course of one day. It would also explain why so many things were broken with Rage of the Wookies and the Combat Upgrade. It wasn't half of SOE working on Rage of the Wookies and half on Combat Upgrade, it was roughly 1/3 each for Rage of the Wookies, Combat Upgrade, and this "revamp."

I sincerely hope that SOE will make a landmark surprise decision, and for once, listen, and I mean truly listen, to the voice of the people.

Take heart, everyone. Look to American history. Despite what many of your teachers likely taught you, in the Revolutionary War, it was a minority revolution, not a majority. And in the decades prior to the Civil War, it was not a majority outcry against Slavery, but a minority. A minority! It doesn't matter if we truly are the 1% or not. The 1%, if loud enough, is the driving force of the majority of decisions.

As a last idea. Those of you who have Trials. Go in search of the supposed Creature Handler items. I sincerely doubt that SOE would take the time to include them and a very complicated quest to get them when they knew Creature Handler would be removed. And if they haven't been, well, that's false advertising. That we can surely get them on.

[Goes into a deep cellar, and returns with an armload of wine crates. The wine looks to have remained untouched for hundreds of years, maybe even a millenium.]
A toast. To the '1%', and to Starwars Galaxies as we know it.

May not have ever mastered CH, but I've always followed this profession with affection. It was truly one of the most unique and fun to me.

Started CH in Sept 2004 and still have not mastered it. I have 4 boxes left as my supporting proffesion right now is Pistoleer. But before that I was Master Marksman and Master Scout. Not the best supporting proffesions, but I still enjoy having my pets and the ablity to train and tame them as well. It was something I was looking forward to with TOOW as well and then have them rip that away. Cause I know its going to still take me awhile to master CH and now I won't even be given the time to do so cause they'll be removing the profession I've not bought TOOW and with this info, I am not sure I realy want to now as CH was my reason to get the Expansion SOE, if you remove pets from this game and leave mounts uncomandable I don't think I'll be staying with SWG much longer. And I'm a former SWG Beta3 Tester and my offical account start was July 2nd 2003. I supported this game from the start, and now I'm not sure what to think

I know it will do no good. To me this just fits with the insane grind they added to the new system. To be honest never thought they had the ballz to do it but oh well.

Master CH since July 03 and damn proud they never was able to run me out of the pofession, This is the only why they could make me stop being a CH.

I do not care what anyone says the CH community is the best

- I support reverting to & balancing the old combat system
