Thank you SOE for bowing down to the almighty "I R Dumb... make game so dumb people like me who cant figure how to play can play with no effort needed" crowd....
So because they want to get new blood by making it easier for new people to play without having to expend the effort of being created, all the people who worked so hard to create a character that wasnt the norm are told to piss off and our time/effort mean nothing....
I must say.. SOE always amazes me with its ability to piss people off and not give a damn about what the people who are paying for their product think...
Just think for the people who stay... you get to look at a bunch of other people who will be JUST LIKE you.. As the other psoter said I dont want ot be a copy of a character from one of the movies... I want to be my OWN character.... god forbid we want to be original.... ugh If i want limited character options ill go play Diablo online
Not that they care, but if i cant stay as a MCH/MSwords I will be using the /cancelsubscription option

/sign I have been MCH since i started, mastered other professions as well but have never dropped CH because i love it so much. i have been playing with my sludge panthers and razor cat since i found out about this "upgrade". In just a few short weeks i will never be able to pet them again. 
I will truley miss my wonderfull and loyal companions. That's what made this game special for me...Talon, my first razor cat, he will be terribly missed.

We may be only 1%, but imagine if we staged a protest, in the middle of theed, with all of our pets out, all doing tricks, with as many people as possible joining in with their pets doing the same. You've seen ss's of the cu protests, imagine that combined w/ pets.

I can't believe they're changing a RPG into an FPS... If I wanted to in a full aciton game I'd get Battlefront 2...
I wanted to be Bewchabbacc The Black, the character I RPed with since 1998, and that finally had a virtual world to live in since beta 3...
Bewchy is a CH, and will always be at heart. I am going to wear my master CH title high and proud, and I will protest all I can. This is ridiculous, I feel like I'm being raped with a baseball bat with no lube... Thank you $OE!
I still can't believe this is happening... I guess with all these simplifications they're gonna switch from "T for Teen" to "C for Children" or some crap like that...

I am totally speechless. I started playing SWG in beta and after it was released and While I did change my profession when we had all those respec's just to try out classes, in the end I came back to CH on my last respec. I found that no other profession was as remotely interesting to me as play a CH. I did open my Jedi slot and I planned to be a Jedi/MCH. I have two accounts that will be canceled if CH is removed from the game.

We have to fight back.
We cannot let this happen to our profession, or any of the professions they are taking away.
Everyone must unite somehow, against these lies and deception.
They cannot treat us like this. We have to leave this game if the changes go live.
Noone should accept this abuse any longer...

I am deeply distressed by the actions of SOE regarding Creature Handler.
We have been betrayed.

I haven't been CH for long. (MOstly picked it up cause I got tired of that damned lava flea we get for preorder not being able to group or attack). But it is a very fun profession, just because its not one of the most used professions doesn't mean it should just be scrapped. Its as much a part of this game as any other profession, and if some people have a hard time learning or understanding how it works, they can do what everyone else does, choose another profession, there are plenty to choose from sony!

CH was the first profession i mastered. Took me several months to master and i have been playing since day one.
I SUPPORT the change, im sorry that CH is being taken out, maybe pets will still exist after this change who knows. If not thats ok, i think its kind of ridiculous you guys cant have fun playing another profession. On the server i play on i do believe CH is about 1% of the community. This is just my opinion...
