You're right, I don't think 25k is much at all to ask for Taming Clothes, especially for +25.Although, I think it benefits MCH's more than Novice CH's.I am by no means rich, but nowadays, money is so transitory and easily had, 25k is a PI$$ in the POT.

Sure, Milk is more easily had than before the patch, but you still need to Aquire the Resource, plus the Services of a Tailor are still required. Time and Money still must be invested in producing +Taming Clothing, as well as other Modifiers.

Unless you're talking BE Pets, Creature Handlers can get their weapons in the wild, for free. Their only investment is time. Every other weapon class profession must spend anywhere from 12k-100k for their weapons, depending on weapon type and its attributes.

I went out hunting and gathered the Materials Required for making +Taming Modifiers to have a BE and Tailor Make them to my specifications. I still ended up paying nearly 40k for the clothing, although they charged me muchless. It was all part of the fun and my appreciation for the importance of their roles in making these possible.

Now I can continue my search for rares with a little more confidence. :-)

Well, CH is a dying profession.. for those that have been in it fromt he start i would say now it seems like a waste of points.

I have taming clothes.. they really are neat.. but to spend 25k on them? umm no dont do it!

as far as this guy SomeUseri would have to say i will never buy from someone with such a poor attitude. More power to you if you get people to pay such crazy prices for items of mediocure use. taming clothes will not make or break your game. Personally as a looong time MCH.. i would buy masking clothes and maybe some defence mod clothes.. to survive in todays game.

By and large... most CHs polled wouldn't even know such a thing existed. 75% of the player base has at least novice medic. They all know about healing clothes. VERY few CHs are master and really competant (meaning try to understand the class well).

I just found a tailor to make +25s myself the other day after a month of looking.

Zarni nice nick. But some bad posting. I don't believe I know any incompetent MCH who aren't just hologrinding. Well I take that back there is DeneziB. As a MCH, Master Medic, and up to Master Sniper, I used very little in the line of clothes. Especially when BE clothes for CH were 1-3M. Now I do understand this post is about how cheap everything is now and really there are some great BE's out there.

BUT, for a BE to walk in here and just post something so silly as this or the scoffing at BE pets post is CRAZY.

Heres the real deal. I do not want BE clothes because I live on Dantooine. I hunt on Dantooine. I kill every frenzied graul I see. And yet nothing. Not yet has one stinking Frenzied Graul bothered to spawn. And so what even if it did all i would have is my EGO. I mean lets down to it, I can't really scoff at BE pets. OMG they rock. So tell me what use is rare being rare? So what do I need this? I won't tame anything again unless it is a lesser bol. I do this to give to newbs if I happen to meet one in travelling. So what, it will take me two or three tries on my worst day? Do not get my wrong my dear BE, I am not saying you are useless, just not usable by me.

The BE clothes do not fix my bugs. The BE pets that i useI would not have either if they had not been gifts from the loveliest lady in the game. Even though I had to heal mine more. Even though mine run just as much as the BE. I still loved them. That is my EGO....I did it. It was not skill. But it was timing and patience, and me versus the enviroment not a skill modifier check of +25. SOE has everyone sucked into this "force grouping mantra". I have no problem with the items existing. But I do have problems with me buying my own UBERness. Stat modifying clothes, I say "BAH". I have read a lot of CH posts. Most of us fit the ex-mold of CH as soloist. I do not really care that TKA tanks now. Let them go group somewhere if that is what they want. I could not care less. What I do care about is the ruining of CH.

This modern generation of gamers has been ruined ever since that god forsaken money grabbing Gauntlet came out. Thats mid 80's for you kids. Elf is about to die. Valkyrie is about die. 10 bucks of quarters for 30 minutes of gaming. We buy everything in games now. Clones, Rezzes, Buffs, Stat modifiers. Noone knows the definition of game over anymore. I do. And I am not buying into this garbage. I won't PvP if that is the one repurcussion I must face. I won't buy a buff. I was the only chanter I know in EverQuest to never sell crack one time. I've not asked for any money for pets here. Although people have tipped and I have kept that because I feel they meant it. Those who do not dont offer. I am also the brokest Chanter and CH.

It is post like yours that ruins all CH credibility. If as TH stated (I do not believe anything he said to this point myself) that the CH pet is like a grouped member, then consider you jumped a nest of your choosing. A really nasty nest with agros and ferocious and deathblows everywhere. And your grouped partner was the supposed tank, but got a wild hair and ran off. You for a fact would not group with that person ever again. Most of us real MCH's that do understand the profession, realize we have the option to not group with our pets. Any real incompetence lies in the fact we do not quit. For some deep down reason we do it over and over and over again. We will not die. And for that we are stupid. And we are peeved. And we do not respect BE. What they do just for profit...we on the other end are doing it because we are deeply drawn to the class.
