Thread: Can we get a current list of bugs, Plz
This happened a few times to me prior to the CU. My guess is that what actually happened was that (for example, when I was taming graul maulers) a nearby adult would blow my masked scent and then aggro me, at which point the baby I was trying to tame would join in.

i hope this is a bug, but last night i found out that even though the baby conned as yellow(unagressive) he would still break maskscent and attack me. I was under the impression that even if its parents are agressive, the baby shouldnt be and should be capable of approach even with maskscent enabled.
pretty much every agro on endor was a result of me getting to close to a baby who conned yellow on an agression status.
Well, of all the items on the list (good list, Vert), by far the two most gamebreaking are the AWOL pet specials and the problem with pets not holding aggro.
For my part, I'm a Master Bounty Hunter with midlevel pets, so the aggro problem is magnified with me. I practically have to disarm to reduce my damage levels to below what my midlevel pets are dishing out.
As for the missing specials, they are indeed missing not only from the pets' attack repertoire, but also from the CH's list of trainable commands. Someone earlier had expressed the fear that these missing features are not an error, but an intentional redesign. I've been trying for weeks (ever since I saw this issue for myself on the Test Center) to find out the story. Is this an error, or an intentional redesign???

well in my occurance, the baby alone started attacking, i was accually expecting the adults to join in but they kept at a distance. it was clearly just the baby trying to devour me, not sure if its really a bug, if it isnt i'll just go get some maskscent clothes lol

It is simply unprofessional for the devs to continue to leave us in an information vacuum on issues like this. How did any of these guys graduate from software engineering or management programs?
Vert, this is your top task ... silence is not acceptable on these matters.
The problem is, the developers don't have to talk to correspondents at all :/. Many professions are in this boat if Im reading their forums correctly, the Corr sends em a bunch of suggestions, and no response at all.....He can't exactly force them to answer, as the departure of the previous AS correspondent proved.
I don't envy any Corr. the thankless and generally useless position the devs have put them in ... but at least every response to questions *they* ask him can start "I can have that for you just as soon as you answer the question that has been ignored since C.U. Beta ...."
I have large cats (well, used to be large). Grand Wrix, GSP, Cowardly Gurreck. I have seen people report they are now slower to follow, and this is true, but I find my large cats are painfully slow in combat as well. I have fought Swamp Stalkers and Plains Hunters on Naboo and the MOB just runs past my cat and starts gnawing on me. Eventually, my cat will turn around and come back after the MOB...
Pre CU this never happened - of course there was no hate system either, but it seems we also have a new "slow system".
The commands no longer show up in the training menu. So it looks like they have been taken out. I did notice abilities like ranged attack is now listed as a skill from the trees.

I dont think pet specials not working is a bug. I suspect this is an intended result of the CU
if you look at your training options when you try to train a creature, does anyone have the ability to actually train a pet to comand a pet to perform a special attack? I know I dont have the option to.
I strongly suspect that this is an intended feature. I hope Im wrong
p.s if any does have the ability to train a pet to do specials, please let me know and I'll report myself as a bugged case
I'll repeat whatQwerty said - can't call my boar wolf or boar wolf ravagers now. Apparently we need taming clothes to call them now. As I said in another thread, that's wrong.
In general, the problem for me is that pets seem to be of little use against mobs that are higher in level. At least, that's been my experience. As a CL 80 MCH/Master Pistoleer (my sig needs to be changed I guess), the mobs I need help against are in the CL 78 and higher range. I have no pets and know of no pets that can handle mobs that high.
In fact, the highest pet one can have is CL 70, and I can and havesoloed anything that low. Last night I got swarmed by4 or 5CL55 slinking voritors (some kind of voritor). My CL 62 webmaster quickly got killed when 2 attacked it, but I still had little problem taking out the voritors. So, if my pet was of little use against a CL 55 mob what help is it going to be against a CL 80 mob?
But even if the pet had been effective against the mob, I didn't need it. What's the point of having a pet out if there's no need for it? What kind of Jack-of-All trades can a pet be when the only time you need it is when the mob's level is too high for it to be of any use?
oops, ddouble ppost
