Thread: I'm so sorry gang... and a farewell.
I've never been a CH, but I remember when CH was one of the more popular professions and when my buddies' critters were the only thing keeping me alive in combats. As I recall, people trickled away after CH was changed in anticipation of the combat changes due out in late '03. I wonder if that might explain why CH was on the low end of masteries... 
FWIW, I'm going to use my token respec to switch my spare skills to CH. It's not much in the way of support, but it's about all I can do.

I'm relatively new to the CH profession, and didn't know you that well. I would like to thank you for your hard work.

Why? Why? Why? I've spent so many hours, ignoring my girlfriend, ignoring work, ignoring my pets, just to play to get that next cool pet leveled so I learn a new special ability. Is there anyone we can mail to stop this? WIll someone unite the Creature Handlers of SWG?

And you had better believe I'm raising holy hell... Tiggs stated we were less than 1% of the population. However, in this Astromech Stats Friday Feature from August, we're in the top 50% of all professions.
Not to mention we're listed above, for example, Commando, which is being preserved in the new system. So there are more CHs than Commandos, yet CH is being cut from the game. Hmm... something doesn't add up.
Raise your voices. Speak up. Even if you're quitting, fight for those who may still stay. Fight for your pets. Be extra-melodramatic... but say your part if you feel strongly about it.
