Well thats you. I feel they are extremely onverpowered for there level or that MCH pets are extremely underpowered for there level. They either need to make MCH pets 7X stronget than these or make these actually 7X weaker than a MCH pet

I came to a compromise with myself, after the fiasco with my first pet i took on CH and i am training these pets with my CH skills, and i know i will drop many of those skills but i will try to keep as much of them as long as i can.
i knowthey arenot important to you (the smuggler issues), after all they have been only broken since release.
and what about squadleaders rangers and many other profs, there are so amny things broken in this game that aregetting so few love that this "small" issue can notmake many players simpathetic about you, even less when you state that you don't care about their issues.
because this issue is not as game breaking as you make it look, these pets cannot compete with the pets you can get from a BE, and i usually don't see any CH willing to use his pets as tanks for me to grind XP so i am not taking anything away form you per se, even more i am giving money to BEs so they can afford to buy more resources and do better pets for CHs to use, (maybe prices could raise but there are not so many buyers for these low level pets and actually the CH BEd pets i see for sale are cheaper than the non CH ones)
you admit pistoler is broken and yet you want this fixed first not because this breaks CH but because you are one.
i see this has to be fixed but i do not see it as an exploit or gamebreaking issue. i care and would love to see this fixed, till then i will use these pets to help me because believe it or not i am not your enemy, just another player.
thats why i said maybe.
Umm dude, BE's don't use resources that way. ANY protein, and ANY flora works exactly the same. It cost's a BE 1 cpu to buy the stuff to make pets. Hell half the time they use things other people would just throw away.
BE's use DNA samples that just like our skills come from hard work. Not macro grinding, and not from buying some uber weapon. Hard work thatthenon-ch has not done. And more importantly, skill points they have not had to spend. I have said this before elsewhere but it fits here as well....
Let any player use a non-commando flamethrower, or a non-doctor buffpack, or a non-smuggler slicing tool then talk to us about how little this issue means to you.
Umm dude but the need good resources to make stims that we need

well....i consider probots stronger than a nonch pet (have not tested this). and probots are clvl 19 with medium armor iirc.
Not sure where the 7x fits in or if thats just a number you threw out there. I do agree that MCH are slighly underpowered...but only slightly. I havent tested it out either...but it should match out that they can just beat out something similar to their level...like say a mutant rancor.
Doesnt make sense for melee chars to use nonch pets...andthey have difficulty going toe to toe with stronger creatures so ranged ppl cant use them for a lot of things. they dont last long against npcs like nyms or corsairs either as they dont have energy resists or if they do...it hurts em even more. going up against just onesharnaff (clvl 30ish...) they get beat up badly.
the only arguements i've seen so far is that a comperable pet in the wild is significantly less than a clvl10. But the concept of BE pets is that they're supposed to be significantly better than whats in the wild. Comparision wise ....that would be like saying a combat class has to stick to meatlump cdefs and not use WS crafted ones.

Probots got nerfed a long time ago man. no probot has more than 3K HAM and 40% resists anymore. Yes they are CL 19 and they are signifigantly weaker than these things.
Heres where the 7X comes from.Your averageCL 70MCH BioEngineeredpet can have a max ham of around 12K HAM light armor 50% kinetic/energy and 80% to a few more types. So it would make sense that a pet with 1/7 the CL would have 1/7th the stats right? That would mean that aproportional CL 10 would have around 1.5K HAM and15% kinetic energy and 20-25% to a few others. Howeverasuper CL 10usuially has 10/5/3K HAM,60% kinetic, and low blast resists. Now anyone can see that even though these are weaker than a MCH pet their power is not porportional for there level and thats what I have a problem with.
Yes I know these pets are weak against NPC's, but against quenkers on Dant they make excillent tanks for people changing templates.
I agree BE pets should be better than wild ones. They are our WeaponSmiths after all.
