so exactly why do they have to wait until tomorrow to put this hotfix in? If they know they have it they should implement it immediately, if we were important. We ain't. If the jedi's force powers were level 1 they would have taken the servers down in the middle of the day to fix. I have seen them take the servers down during the day many times before. So I guess that shows how important we really are to them. Another night of 1(0) pets while everyone else is out getting double xp. We get to stand around with our thumbs up our rears. I hate the devs.

From my experiance, most TRUE veteran CHs and Rare hunting CHs, use mostly Wild pets. I have 1 BE pet, my level 1 blurrg, which I can't call anymore. Everyone I seen on my server that was CH besides me the past month was a respected CH with BE pets and tried showing my GPS up with a BE giant razor cat or something thinking thier pet was better. From what the devs see, and read on OTHER forums, Most CH now are using BE giant super pets that arn't really super. They have no value. If a Vet CH has a BE pet it is cause they had it from pre-patch pre-CU and had it a long time and are too attached to get rid of it.

Why would we use be pets now? no working specials, no visible armor reduce the value of them greatly. Pre-CU, 95% of the reason I started getting BE pets was because the ferocity issue made ALL my pets but 2 of them worthless. Out of my selection of be pets that survived, they are average with a normal pet now.

Yep that is why my lvl 60 BE plains hunter is still in my datapad. I can't call him cause he would be restated or re leveled to useless or uncallable. But he is (was :smileysad a good hunting companion.

Get your clicky finger rested up. It's crunch time for that last bit of double xp.

I must say, I am impressed that the issue was acknowledged in a public forum (still shocked about that one)and rectified very quickly. It doesn't excuse the fact that a major reported bug made it to the live servers but it is good to know that SOE, when properly motivated, can get the game back on track in a timely manner.

This definetly was a massive error on their parts. Its very unprofessional to push such a potentially destructive bug to live when it was well known in advance. I wish it didnt take the entire community screaming in anger to get them to resolve issues... or that they'd use they're heads before they caused more issues which make them look terrible in the eyes of their customers.

/sigh

Lord knows I've tried to reason that to them.

Whilst I agree the problem highlighted some servere issues in how they run things.

The good news, is that all 19 of my wild tame pets on my Test center Master CH are fixed, health back to the original levels, and CL restored.

For the record, my droids are fine too, as are my faction pets.

Don't cheer them, and don't praise them. This is a bug that should NEVER have seen the live servers. The Developers get NO respect from me. The last company I was computer programmer at would have fired someone over a problem like this, maybe even fired several people. I stand firm that the problem lies on a Community Service Director that doesn't listen to the Community is a bad thing. Tiggs is be blamed for this game breaking bug, and should be given her walking papers for her indifference towards the players.

I am not sure ... just guessing here ... I think it was not a bug, I think it is a work around to fix all 1(0) pets, and set all of them to the correct levels.

just my 2 cents worth

If that were the case, it wouldnt have taken this long for the reset.
