What special shot in the marksman or pistoleer tree targets the mind? Seems that is the only way to attack nowadays

Pretty sure only Combat Medics have that ability (and I'm not positive they do)

You could try having a Muon Gold handy for emergencies.

Or that mind-food stuff, Angerian Fishak.

Or even one of those foraged onions are good in a pinch, +500 mind for 60s, has saved me multiple times.

Food, Drink and Spice does not cure anything, it meerly gives it a temporary bonus.

Muon gold, Fishak, and Glazed Glucose Pate all add to mind, which will boost your current mind, so kinda like a heal.

Just watch out for those muon downers

Flurr Cle Onions are great as 'mind-stims'. The give you a 500 boost to mind for 1 minute, but there is no downer, like those **edit** spice, which means after the minute has past you don't lose any mind.

Any buff to the mind pool adds to both the current and maximum values, so if you're down to 100/750 mind and drink an Angerian Fishak (+500 mind), your mind pool goes to 600/1250. When the buff wears off (about 8 mins for Angerian), only the maximum is reduced unless your current is above your un-buffed maxed. If the buff wears off when you're 500/1250, you go to 500/750. If you're at 1250/1250 when the buff wears off, you go to 750/750. Food and drinks (including foraged items like onions) add to your stomache bars (displayed in the character sheet), so you can't use them over and over. Spices last for 10 minutes, and have a 3 minute downer period where you get all your stats reduced by however much the original buff was.

Combat medics can heal mind damage, but take mind wounds (and I think BF).

There are new chef foods in Test right now that act as mind heals. They take place instantly, do not add to the maximum stat, and take up room in your stomache.

Some valuable advice, and this applies to 90% of threads....

Do not listen to "I heard this, I heard that" .

It is that simple.

There are forums called 'In Development' 'In Testing' 'In Conception', and on the main page there are numerous DEV notes and State of the Game letters.

When you log into the game there are notes and information and links.

Look around, do research.

If you care enough to know, look it up for yourself and be sure because 80% of the players in this game do not know **edit** about **edit** though they are so sure their "I heard" is right.

As far as mind damage the exact words were "It is being removed as a special damage type".

Nothing more has been said so nobody knows anything more until the team clarifies though everyone I am sure has their theories.
