Well the thing is with the new group system in place all grouped pets just with their owner should be equalto their master's level, so that rancor should of been 70ish, I think that's the problem with the damage....it's still only hitting like it's 46

agreed if in fact the level should have been recalculated to reflect a higher level, then their should have been a damage multiplier for the pet while fighting that level 71 player.
Then again, that TC is going through so many daily changes (back end database changes as well) its not even funny so i guess well do like the military loves to do ... Hurry and Wait ...

Yeah, I've been thinking along those lines too. My theory of what they might do, which I'll have to try to get some testing in, is that grouped pets don't take higher level multiplier damage. So a CL80 player cangroup with3 pets and they'll all be CL80 for purpose of damage multipliers, but the DPS will be of what you'd expect for their level with no penalty due to their level. So hopefully testing will show that a CL80 player taking on a grouped CL80 pet will have no damage multipliers, so it'll just be a matter of DPS of which I would think they will give a true CL80 player a higher DPS than any CL70 pet since the health will already be a bit higher. They originally decided CL by DPS anyway so I wonder how much they might of tweaked their forumula again now for armor, resists, and health.
