As a non CH, I have something to say about CL10 pets (and as a non English, I hope you'll forgive my poor language).
I like pets. I actually use my bolotaur more often than my BARC (except in hunting groups with guys I don't know for I don't want them to wait for me during hours).
But I won't be buying any CL10 pets.... for only one reason : only 2 slots in my datapad.
I would love to have a tiny bearded jax playing around while I'm playing musis or dancing....but I have my Kashyyyk bantha and my bolotaur in my datapad so I can't.
Please, tell the devs to let non CH have more than 2 pets (I don't think having 10 CL10 pets will bring disbalance in the game).
And, about the price, I agree than pets (and droids) are worth a lot more than they are sold actually.

Yeah, that kind of des leave everyone in a lurch. I'm sure no one wants to delete their irreplacable quest pets and handing over to someone else to level up and train is questionable.

I am getting so many requests for training pets that I am charging increasing amounts for unsolicited requests. I will train BE Cu Pas to be mounts, fully grown and command trained with Level 2 Knockdown and Level 1 Eye Gouge for 50k at the moment, or free to ma frens.

will they grow to mount size? mine hasn't, and he has 4 ability slots. he was made pre-patch21, maybe that makes a difference?

KMadness Candy Treats and Junk Food
Because Whit's too lazy to cook it all herself!
Twilight's End, Naboo (-3036, 5300)
vercupti (+75 prec) thakitillo (+77 sta)
flameout (+65 con) mando (49 fill 19 min +54 str)

i want a complex game with an easy interface, not an easy game with a complex interface

No you wolnt. BE chupas are much to small to hold a saddle at CL10.

Pets do decay, its called vitality. Lots of Non-CHs ask me why I wolnt let them duel my bull rancor and its because they dont understand what vitality is.

Hmmnn . Its true that I haven't actually trained a BE Cu Pa as a mount to sell, but wild Cu Pas certainly can be mounted. Am training a BE Cu Pa at the moment so will let you know the outcome

As regards Vitality - you have to be careful who you PVP of course, but remember that most friendly encounters will not result in a deathblow. Your pet will often be dealt with first by your enemy, and incapacitated off in the distance from where you meet your final demise. Its wise to store your pets promptly, but in my experience people don't actually bother to murder your pet (maybe I have been lucky). Remember also that when it comes to non-CH pets, the player will seldom bother to use it in PVP anyway because of the small amount of damage it will inflict. I concede that it is not absolute, but I reckon a non-CH would be working pretty hard to actually have their pet murdered during PVP often enough to make vitality a big issue.

Despite the fact that I've been a BE/CH for some time... and despite the fact that Cin even confirmed it in her post... "You all should take a minute to check out the BE forums where CL 10 pets have been a topic testing and discussion for quite some time. It is a proven fact that the only BE PETS that can be mounted for non-ch use is the dewback, at CL10 only, and the falumpaset at CLs 7-10. If you see a Cu pa, a brak, a bantha, spat or anything else that is recorded as a mount being ridden by a non-ch, it must either be 1- a pre-cu pet, or 2- a wild tame. That's it. So if you want to not take all this tested information at face value, then go waste your time... heaven know's that we have loads of time to grind out pets, 'cause we don't ever have to grind anything in this prof, now do we? (Sorry, that's called sarcasm... learned it in Canada).

Maha. Thanks for resolving this issue Nueanda. Have never made a foray into the BE forums, but it might have saved some confusion. Live and learn. We in England haven't heard of sarcasm you know - the Canadians must have made it up all by themselves.
