There are creatures in the star wars universe that effect a jedi's force ability. For the life of me i cannot remember names, but Thrawn has one which stops Mara Jade in the Last Command. They are like stouts or ferrets.

You're thinking of the ysalimiri. They'd be worthless in a fight, but would/should, if ever introduced in the game, keep force powers from affecting you. There were also the vornskyr, a type of cat from the same planet that hunted using the force. Would be a powerful ally against a jedi....

That's why their greatest contribution would be providing specialized tissues for BE's to make other varieties of force-resistant creatures .....

Give me a medium-armor Bull Rancor with 75% force resistance ...... just for a while, let's see how it works.
