Denial? I can just picture people sitting in a room and saying "I'm a CH and I realize we were nerfed" while staring at the floor as part of a 12-step program.
I do think there will *always* be a "grass is greener on the other side" type of thing going with all the professions in game. I have a Master Fencer character in addition to a MCH, and Fencers complain all the time about being unbalanced (aka not good enough compared to other professions) in high level dungeons like the Corvette, DWB, etc. I look at my Fencer though compared to how fast the two can tear through a mob and there is no contest (the Fencer wins with a large margin).
I *do* think CH's are underpowered at the moment if you compare us with other professions. Sometimes, an "apples to apples" comparison is difficult since different professions have different roles, skills, strategies, etc. but I think it's pretty clear CH's at the moment need the least nerfing in any combat rebalance.
We'll see I guess. I think if some across the board nerfing is part of the combat rebalance, all forums will probably be an ugly place. People just hate having power taken away and it'll be a hard thing to swallow. Hopefully, the Devs will do a good job and not make any profession feel like a black sheep.

My origional postis entirely based on what the devs have told us so far and the more I think about it the more I think your one of them. So ok Tstorm AKA Thunderheart where are those docs?

My impression with the combat revamp is if CH's do get "nerfed" it will be in line with everyone else. Noone likes less power, but in my mind if it is balanced with other professions I'll be happy.

After what happened in december we dont have any power left to take away without completely destroying the functionality of our profession.

Correct. That is what happened to CH. Everyone said that we were the green grass so we go hit and hit hard by the nerfbat. No denial issues in our minds. We went out one day to hunt and got slaughtered. After that groups stopped asking us to join them for hunts. Then they started again but only in the starport. Heven forbid that we should actually go out on these new solo-group missions. Lots of multiplayer out there. Too bad they are all solo.
Yesterday I watched a TKM take down 3 rancors in a row. I had stopped to assist (what little I might have been able to offer but there was no need. I actually felt sorry for the rancors (enraged ones I believe) they died to this TKM faster than my pets and I would have died to them. It was really sad. Well for the rancors. Now if I and my strongest pets had gone after some rancors I would have woken up in the clone center.

Flaming another profession to get your point across, is what happened towards CH and thay got NERFED..
he/she was most probely wearing armor and/or fully buffed, which in any case would go for nearly any profession that was fully armored and/or fully buffed.....
