Adding another thing: see thread "CH not considered a true combat prof?"

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=creature_handler&message.id=197866

Apparently, we can't exchange CH xp for force sensitive combat xp. This is simply wrong. I always have and always will continue to vehemently argue that CH is a combat profession, and this is precisely why. So that Devs will treat CH as such.

Vert, now high on my Issue/Request List is that we be able to exchange CH xp for combat xp.

I think #13 on your list of a creature building such as stable or zoo should be in your top 5. It would provide us with a much needed area to store pets or enable ch to display pets inside their homes. It would also allow us to compete with bio engineers because we could set up shop and sell our pets. Also inside these buildings pets would continue to grow making it possible to tame a pet for someone then put in the stable for approximately 3-5 days so it could fully grow. If you also read my petition this is something many ch in BEAST and those who have signed the petition want to see added to the game.

#15 would like to see other pets such as Bull Rancor, Frenzied Graul, Great Plains Stalker and other uber rare creatures to have medium armor.

One I would like to add. Fix frenzied grauls

pathing and poofing have never ever been problems for me in over a year, still not sure what these issues really are.

# 2 and #3 are particularly important to me, however the rest could fall by the wayside in favor of...:

#10 give us a lil 75% pvp reduction for the pets...

#15 for all high end predators. A rancor should be tough tough tough.

#11 I have posted my thoughts about mounts, they need to be able to act as sort of armor for the rider and certain specials should be able to be used. Kiting is not an issue since pets slow down during combat. At any rate, it would make mounts worthwhile again, think "horses ridden in battle in the middle ages."

Number 14 seems to be a non-issue now that players have a delay in switching weapons during combat. I wouldn't care if that request was dropped.

I have two additions:

1. Consider giving creature handlers disease and poison resists somewhere in the tree to make them more competitive in PvP. (An MCH has really poor defenses against a defense stacker. This would give a very slight boost, but it would at least make us feel like our profession wasn't a total creampuff profession.)

2. Fix it so you can choose which food to feed your pet. It sucks to have cheap food and expensive buff food in your inventory and there's no way to make sure your pet eats the cheap food.

14 is still an issue, if anything because the delay is 3 times longer than the weapon delay. Multiply that times 3 pets and, well...
Not to mention we can't change pets in combat either.

selecting what food to give your pets is good and bad, bad because it would be an extra step and I am lazy
However you can put special food in a backpack, drag it to a toolbar for personal use, and put pet food in your main inventory. This is a fairly decent workaround.

1. rangers have been asking for this for along time... and they should get it before CH does... their argument is that they know the most on how to survive in the wild (fairly reasonable)... what justifcation do we have as CH's for it???

2. as stated in the post above me its an easy thing to take care of this on your own...

I can just see a "Wait for the Combat Revamp" and "Wait for the Smuggler Revamp" quote all rolled into one.

Here is a better discussion of the argument for disease and poison resists:

Number 1, 2, 3 and 5 are rightly up at that end on the need to be fixed list. I am not sure if number 4 needs to be there. It seems an old issue and fixed too. I have no problem with all the others though. They all need to be taken care of.

Haven't seen pet "poof" as much lately, mounts seems to be following fine.

--I think that the pet specials issue, that is the fact that use special1&2 the pet do one or the other but they won't do both. There seems to be no consitant thread in the pet specials. If those worked all the time the pets would be way better.

--Body types running away has to be in the top 5, you want more creatures tamable but the creatures we can tame that are big run all the time. What's the point in ading more pets when pet specials don't work and body types run?

--Vitality Loss in PvP needs to be closer to the top of the list I think

Bottom Line, my vote for top 5 would be

6-7-8-2-1

Currently the #3 issue I feel is too vauge, as is 10. But everything is vauge when it comes to CB

Here is something I thought about when I replied to another post here on the forums. For the rank of Master CH only, the abiltiy to see a creatures level/difficulty should be granted. The Master CH has spent quite a bit of time around animals and as such it would seem a simple thing for a Master to tell right off the bat what lvl that creature is. That way we don't have to Master Scout, and we are not forced to get into any Jedi type training if we don't want. Just an idea.

Soooo, am I the only one erked by this darn countdown for calling and storing pets? Its cool to have a countdown, but by time I pull a pet out combat is just about over already in a grouped enviroment. If Im soloing, Its not as bad, but I cant have my pet following the group do too poor travel speed. So, it really should be shortened at least, just to be a little more group friendly.
