And low the Dev said to the Pistoleer and Rifleman in this world you may kill all using AoE Except those from the geonesian cave for if you do kill geonesian's using an AoE you shall be banned.
seems sort of familiar.
Leatherface
Here's how I've been doing it. I'm not saying this is the best way, but it's been working for me (2 boxes away from master now, and I was 1/1/1/1 when I first went to the caves).
1) Stock up on stims, you are going to want to be able to heal your pet to avoid long waits in between xp runs. (rotating pets helps too, and will save some on stims)
2) Clone and insure. You will be cloning at some point. Don't bring along anything that you don't want damaged.
3) Make sure there are already people there and that they aren't getting massacred.
4) Get out your pet, something close to level 20 gets the best xp for me, but you may want to experiment some. Geonosians seem to use stun and kinetic, so having a pet with those resistances doesn't hurt. Your pet is going to lose vitality at some point, so keep that in mind when making your choice.
5) Stay in the first room of the cave and send your pet in from there.
6) If the people killing the geonosians aren't using AoEs, then just target the one they are attacking and sick your pet on it, rinse and repeat.
7) If the people killing the geonosians are using AoEs, then it gets a bit trickier and riskier, but you can try just targeting the geonosians as they spawn and sicking your pet on them, when things work well you may get some xp, when they don't, you and your pet will get incapped. You know whether or not they are using AoEs by how fast the geonosians go down. If they fall as soon as they spawn, then people are using AoEs.

I found a new way to get easy CH exp. In 4 days I becasme 3/4/3/3 in CH. its 1000 ch exp per kill and the mobs drop fast. Go to yavin 4 and go to the waypoints -6500 -500
thats the Genosian lab. dont worry about groups becasue there are usually many people there already. but i must warn you...DO NOT GO FAR INSIDE THE CAVE there are many high HAM creatures inside. just attack the crazed genosians in the outside of the cave (you will understand this when you get there). This is a great place to get more CH exp.
I got from 2/2/2/2 CH to 2/4/2/2 CH in 3 hours doing this. If the spawns are being camped as much as they usually are, it works great.
having gone back to the caves yesterday and witnessed a single swordsman do 22k!!!! damage using the area attack exlploit i retract my earlier post, i wouldnt normally mind as im not bothered about looting but i couldnt even get CH xp as things where dead as soon as they appeared.

I went there last night, rotating a famished sludge panther (CL20), a razor cat (CL22) and a kliknik (CL18), and pulled about 150k CH XP in about 1.5 hours. I did see some people using specials to great effect, and actually lost several opportunities for XP, so the total could have been a bit greater (but then again, I capped towards the end), but I didn't see anyone using the AoE specials like others have described. I found that as long as there was something spawning, I could keep my pet close to the action in the second room, and get the points. But I did see people doing serious damage in there. By far, I saw the best points off the enhanced kwis (1950 xp). Going back tonight. Probably need to find boar wolf (CL25), or something else with high Kenetic (BE?) to really do well there. I did try using my new BE Kwi (CL14/CL29), but the points went down dramatically (800-900 per genosian vs. 1100 with the kliknik), but his kinetic was only 25%.
Happy hunting everyone.
What you do is this.....
Place your character on the spot where the walls are closest. Just before the first Geonesian spawns.
Pan your view out so that you can see all of the Geo's without needing to move your view at all.
create this macro
/ui action cycletargetOutwards; think thats it.. im at work atm so cant check
/ui tellpet attack; or whatever your command is
/pause 3;
/ui action toolbarSlot 00;
Place this macro in your first bar slot and rake in the goodies!
Its best to use a fast pet. Personally I used a CL 16 Gurrcat and got 1100K xp per kill, and 2k for harder spawns. Also with the 3 second delay, you will be sure to get xp from every pop ( except if you have a sploiting AOE man there ).
Have fun!
