Ok that comment u made is badly worded, but if you mean how is a non-CH more support than a CH, then the answer is simple.

the CH is more supportive (as in my example above). Unless of course the non CH is a doc/cm then he is giving support with healings/cures etc..
Any melee class takes agro if you send them in first. They are support?
Again, I GAIN MORE SUPPORT BY NOT BEING CH, so how and where does one really have support from CH class? Do not tell me agro. That is blantantly disregarding that NOTHING has to attack the pets first. Once the CH is down, the pets stop fighting. Where are we supporting anyone? A Doc buff is better than a pet. Any melee class is better than a pet.
CH must fight to get the necessary Scout skills to make CH. Making it combat by default, we do not craft our way there, we cannot tame our way there, something must die to become CH.

If your saying "being a doc" or being "combat profession X" is a better way to kill things for PVE or PVP than using pets.... then obviously thats right
Saying you gain no support from being MCH is totally wrong though...
Its all about gameplay and enjoying the game. I went MCH because I wanted to tame rare pets and also because no matter which planet I went to there was content for me (ie something to tame).
I didnt have to look round for buffs as I could always use my pets to tank whilst I chipped away at aggro with my rifle, isnt this using pets to support me? You say dont tell you aggro... why not? From day 1 this has been the reason people use pets (even back in the day when everyone had a non-ch rock-beetle tanking for them)
"CH must fight to get the necessary Scout skills to make CH." Hmmm not entirely true is it? You could get in a group as a healer, keep everyone healed then harvest the kills the group makes.
Or you could use another combat ability you are levelling. You do not use any combat from the scout tree (it hasnt got any)... doesnt this say to you in itself that CH is support? You have to use another skill to get to CH, therefore CH is supporting this other skill....
