I dont care about people preordering anything, I care about new tamable creatures and if a new planet is coming out then this new mount better be tamable for all ch with the expansion pack to get and sell if they want to the player base.
If they do not allow it to be tamable then they again slap us upside our heads while laughing at us for begging for any type of content that concerns the ch profession.
This ticks me off, pre-order bonus pet for non ch, while ch are chasing non exsistent frenzied graul babies for over a year.
I wonder if it will be fully trained, why not, who needs a ch.
If its not trained and if its not a tamable baby on the planet then I for one will refuse to train them for anyone. even friends. Just when I start feeling like they actually care and my hopes rise they do something like this.
This isn't a good thing if its a one shot pet. If you believe it to be a good thing. then I have land to sell you.

Well I for one say if they want to make it a non-ch gift and not let us tame them we all get together and make sure none of us tame them for people for anything less than 10 million MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Considering the Varactyl comes from a completely different planet, one not found in the game currently, you won't be able to tame one. It's a one-shot deal.

Varactyls are on TC-EP3 server. The beta testers are running around showing off Bolotaurs and Varactyls. I saw some for the first time today. The Varactyl is a small thin lizard. Sits about as low as a lesser dewback and is longer and thinner. The Bolotaur is two to three times as big as the Varactyl and looks darn cool. I like both. I've seen the Varactyl run a short distance and it seems like it will be a viable replacement for speeders and such, but each person will have their own opinion on that.
(Before you rush to a test server, no... regular testers can't have them, only beta testers, but you can get a glimpse of them in Coronet and other major cities.)

Orb, dont know if anyone else has said this but the veractyl does not count against creature storage.

If in fact the varactyls will inevitably be open to everyone, I think that would be great.
While I can understand the frustration that some of you may have had in the past with the flash speeder and the goggles, one would think that everyone would be happy now that the devs have realized the problem with this scheme, and have addressed in some way by making the varactyls open.
That said, as someone already pointed out, the wording is unclear as to what will happen with them... so I guess we will only be able to speculate until it actually happens...
PS - I've seen flash speeders on the vendors/bazaar, since I didn't pre-order JtL, what would happen if I were to buy one?
