I have my own set of vendors yeah, 2 of them.
One for organics and the second the Ranger/Scout Equipment.
At present they are both empty but im sure once i hit my Jump to lightspeedsaving account target ill be back into filling them up again.
I am not merchant anymore no but i still have my vendors.

No, no renting :/. Only way without exploiting (wow, I actually used that word *here*) the bug that vendors stay up after surrendering the skills is to be friends with a merchant and let that merchant stock the stuff for you (works out ok for some of my PA's crafters that don't have merchant skills).
