CH means never having to talk to another human being, unless you want to. I know that sounds mean but I am a solo player and I dont like to share my kills or my toys. I think my kindergarten teacher missed something with me.

Greetings everyone. i am new to the CH profession. But i must say this. i enjoy it immensly. i am only 0.0.0.1 (if i can find someone to train me) , but the feeling of finding a baby, and taming it, or the disappointment of seeing THERE in front of me, and to know i am 1 level too low. god i love it. i came into this knowing i wanted to be a nerf herder...i am one of the weakest PvE out there, so what..i should be stronger at that, but time will fix that i hope. But the sheer joy of just "going that way!" in any direction, just to see what i run across is fantastic. Other players ask, "why u going there , is it a POI i don't know? " and my only answer is to "see what's there". it's great, no more traveling in the populated areas, for safety. No more begging to be let in a group, for safety. i solo..i enjoy...but i also attract friends.

i spent 3-4 RL days taking some new friends out getting them Lesser dewbacks for mounts....now since i logon, i get harrassed ( LOL i'm kidding they have become good friends) with tell's asking where i am and if they can tag along...and if they aren't on..i got my friends (pets), who i enjoy..and they aren't that powerful...but it has helped my enjoyment of the game immensely...i'm new i know that, i don't remember the "good old days" but CH as it is holds alot for me, i wish it were better and i applaud everyone for caring enough to want to see it improved...but as the thread shows, it's probaly the best profession going for possibilities...

The thing I like best about MCH is my Kimogilia,

Now you need to understand when I travel with him across Talus he gets stuck on trees grass, rocks, but when I walk into my guild city everyone stares, it's cool.

Now all I want to do is put a saddle on that mother and ride him.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

MMORPGs are about immerson, not conquest. FPSs are about conquest, not immersion.
Powergamers want a FPS, but want an audience to admire them while they do it. That is why they flock to MMORPGs. l00k 4tz me, im d4 l33tz dud3z.

It is refresing to hear this. As I said before I have been a CH sice the beginning and when I think maybe I should take BE or Ranger, I come close to removing rifleman from my profession list, not CH.

It adds such a depth to the game that most Non-CH characters will never see, and I think everyone here hit the nail right on the head.

Almost everything good about being ch has been said except....defending one of our own in the forums even at risk to ourselves.....getting that second rare and giving it to another ch that doesn't have that one...being willing to give out personal messengers so we can talk in private....knowing each other for months because most of us are always ch...being more like a "family" than a profession...sharing our love for what we do, as well as our dissatisfactions as no other prof can.

My pets make me happy to be a ch...you guys make me proud

Well said Juwell.

Its interesting to look at it that way. We are tried and true CH who wont give our profession up for anything. Unlike the BH, Cammandos, TKA who just take whatever is most powerful at the time.

The CH professions adds a level of emotion (if we dare use that word) to the game and brings it beyond the just grind and level stage.

Two of our own have been muzzled, Tivo and Pluto.

Pluto for some post back in April and Tivo for some absolutely unknown reason, other than maybe saying that JTL is definetly not something he wants to buy.

I totally don't understand the system right now, I am in quandry, or maybe it's the fact that he is in the sandbox or might be in the sandbox and a good way to shut him up is to ban him. I just don't know.
