After a hard hunt it's really nice to sit on that hill with your favorite, look about and just be, master of all you see.
.... I touch this planet in a way that no other can or will. I am one with nature, anywhere, anytime.

  1. Putting on your old newbie clothes, hiding your title, equipping a CDEF, hiding your rancor behind a building and challenging a newbie to a duel

  2. Pulling out a ravenous torton/giant veermok/kimogila in Mos Eisley and watching the crowd gather

  3. Diseasing opposing overt faction members with your screecher, then burstrunning away with it following you

  4. Calling your recluse soon after escaping the diseased overts, and then returning only to poison them and run away again

  5. Riding around in a savage humbaba

  6. Killing things with a blaster while riding on said humbaba

  7. Asking people to duel your level 68 BE'd durni

  8. Roleplaying all of the above scenarios

What a great post.

/applause to the poster

There is alot of good in this profession.

As a MBE, I like to sample onecreature and put it in the skin of another. As a CH, I like to use my creations.....for PvE of course. Nothing like using a Merek Death's Head DNA combinein an Eeopie or Bantha skin...mwahahaha...lol. It really turns heads when grouped with others. They're like.....huh? Whois usingthe DoT weapons on creatures?

ummm.....That would be me...

- The excitement of finding *that* baby. The one you've been looking for, for sooo long.
- The rush of taming said baby. "Don't bite me"
- Seeing "A control device has been added to your datapad"
- The leisurely pace of exploration from atop your favorite mount
- Sitting at some remote vista, marvelling in the beauty of the wilderness, with only your pets beside you.
- Pulling out rare or unusual pets and seeing people's responses.
- Knowing that as a MCH, I'm probably just as rare as some of my pets Makes me feel unique in a universe of swordsmen, riflemen and TKMs.
- Seeing that 'happy dog' gallop of a dewback as it comes running back to you.

Lol, most of what I would've said has already been said, but I know how it feels to have a rancor follow you as a new player V_V I had only been playing for about 5 days when some huge thing comes running at me and so of course I run like hell but it keeps on following me until finally some guy comes up to me laughing saying "Like my rancor" *is scarred for life*.

Geez, it's good to see a thread like this! Besides agreeing with all thepositive things already said, I still get a kick from watching my pets in combat. Some like my Grand Wrix have great animation. Or watching them do tricks is fun, too. Pets are just cool too watch in general - I am always amazed by the graphics/art.

Really good posts here ! That's why i keep MCH even after a year of bugs and nerfs

MMORPGs are about immerson, not conquest. FPSs are about conquest, not immersion.
Powergamers want a FPS, but want an audience to admire them while they do it. That is why they flock to MMORPGs. l00k 4tz me, im d4 l33tz dud3z.

On thing that I've always laughed at. I have a friend that is a Master Smuggler/TKM/Master Pistoleer and when I pull out my GSP he says the same thing everytime.

"DAMN!!! THAT THING SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST BITE THE ****IN' HEAD OFF A MOKK!!!"

makes me laugh.

Great thread!

I enjoy having my leviasquall follow newbies. They freak out when they see a giant bunnychaseing after them

One of the best things about the profession for me is the flexability it gives me. I can solo or I can group. I can be a pet seller and trainer. I can be a rare hunter. One day I may feel like hanging out in cities with my pets, answering questions and training for people. The next day I may want to go off on my own to explore out of the way places, faithful pets following behind me. Or I can head to a cantina and have my pets perform with the entertainers. Peko pekos and veermoks are great for that!

I will say this much right now. Sense I became a Master Handler, and started the "CH trials" (looking for rares) I have started seeing more of each planet than I have in the past. I was down in the swamps of Naboo last night and had the sound on. The music it plays in that area is cool, and the spawn plentiful.

Now if they would just put out random trainers so I could train my rifle xp, I would be happy. lol
