I imagine you can also get one of your buddies who got the DD to go do the quest for you. I mean, its not a difficult or time-consuming quest.

I realize the prize can't be handled by anyone other than a MCH, but does anyone know if the quest can be given to a non-CH?

Yes, I sent a PM to the OP and I may as well suggest this here...
If you find yourself stuck in a similar sittuation, you may be able to convince a friend that bought the DD version to temporarily respec to a Master Creature Handler and do the quest for you (With you).

Oh dear... now you'll have the BARC and the MCH Varactyl... how imbalancing!

The ONLY reason I have the JTL is to have ROTW. The ONLY reason I have ROTW is to get the MCH Varactyl.

Wow! I thought this was common knowledge.
How quickly people forget!

There were probably a dozen theads posted about this topic when the expansion came out and in the weeks following.



Anakin: Master, I think my lightsaber is getting dull. Its not doing nearly as much damage as it used to.
Obi-Wan: O.k. when we're done showing the youglings around the temple, we'll stop by the bazaar and you can buy a new crystal. I hope you've got a couple million credits saved up for this.
Anakin: WHAT?!!?? I don't have THAT kind of cash!
Obi-Wan: Well you could try sharpening it on these younglings. I've got a headache and all their questions are driving me NUTS!
Anakin: hmmm.... Sharpen my lightsaber on younglings...... hmmmmmm.....
Obi-Wan: uh, that was a joke Anakin. I'll spot you the cash for a new crystal THIS time, but next time you're on your own.
