I saw tons of them looking for the Mark of Courage Boar. I would not consider them rare at all. I killed 10 or more inside and hour.

The Mark of Courage Boar however is as rare as it gets. Pluto 0, Boar 4. Maybe next time.

Yes, this is a nice mount but you should go tame a Savage Humbaba if you want an impressive mount.

I don' tknow, a male brackaset (or armored camel) is pretty impressive too.

I have both and they are equally cool. Ever wondered what the top of a shuttleport looked like? Mount a savage humbaba and you will soon find out

My armored camel also surprised me by packing some serious speed

Savage humbabas can be found on Corellia and Talus; you can get missions for them on both planets, they're in the difficulty level 25-33 range.

Wild spawns of savage hums show up at random on Talus, the swamp SE of Dearic (prime GSP country) is a good place to look for them. But the really primo hunting groundfor the savage hums is the Agrilat swamp on Corellia; closest starport is Doaba Guerfel, then head SW from there.

LOL! I remember the first time I attacked one of those things, with my CDEF Rifle. It looked small from 62 meters. Then, I shot, it aggroed. . .began to fill my screen and incapped.

/sigh. . .Good times.

Upon reflection, and considering the situation on Dath with Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader babies, it seems that increases in player presence are doing to the wasteland cu pa what The Village is doing to Dath: making creatures formerly not seen often into much more common encounters. I mean, prior to vehicles coming out, and the addition of the POI waypoints, how many people were making the trek to the Mos Espa circuit or to Ben Kenobi's hut? Both are out of the way, although the Mos Espa circuit is well within range of mission spawn areas to the N of Mos Entha.

With the rejuvination of the Hero Quests on Tatooine, a lot of people are hanging out in Bladeback Boar country looking for the elusive sucker to prove they've got what it takes for the Mark of Courage. More player traffic: more wild lair spawns, hence more sightings of previously rarely sighted wasteland cu pas.

I did the majority of my CH leveling in the areas to the north and east of Mos Entha and still maintain a home there today. That said, On Ahazi this area is a ghost town. It is a great place for the novice CH to cut his/her teeth IMO.

Wasteland Cu Pa lairs really aren't common, but they certainly are not extremely rare. They can be found, and babies aren't to bad to get a hold of. I still have mine, and it's been a great companion and mount on every other planet/system in the game. Every CH I know has a soft spot for the Cu Pa variations, myself included. Every time I pass a spawn or see a baby, a get a little smile and carry on my way.

Found my Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader returning from the village one evening, wasn't even reallyeven looking out for babies just happenedto notice a lone yellow dot and targetted it- it was all alone in the middle of nowhere. Couldn't believe my luck!

Now if only that would happen with a Bull Rancor and I would be a very happy man

Oh, and thanks SioBabble - I shall check that out this evening I think!
