I've read them, and they don't seem as helpful as going through and reading threads and getting various peoples advice. It seems that "read the stickies" and "go to the trade forums" are your favorite replies to have. When you do something like this, you discount the orignal poster, and make people think that there is no reason to post information to help him. I think he can find the stickies on his own, so if you have anything else to add, please add it. If not please stop treating the new CH's like idiots.

If you do group with lvl 80's. let your pet do all the work. you'll get much more xp if your pet attacks and you just stand there watching but at least run around abit so the group think your helping lol

Any fast moving group is usually pulling more than one mob at a time. They get overly eager like that. Just sic your pet on the tough group's mob while you go and beat on the other mob. It usually helps keep a good pace and xp will move right along.

No one knows everything, I have been around since the dawn of time and read Jokers stickies as we DO forget things and learn others techniques.

Between this site and the SWGCreatures site you should be able to find 98.37% of your questions answered. <----- like that complicated looking percentage I put there?

A younger but much wiser and MMORPG savvy person gave me the best bit of (no duhh...) advice I have ever gleaned from anyone.

"The best way to advance in any MMORPG is to have steady, even difficulty pulls". "Any harder and the debt makes up for the better xp and any easier and you work too hard".

If you apply this theory to any MMORPG and you will get ahead, seems simple but it works.

Hope it helps!

I miss my pets, my slobbering yet faithful protector named Cuddles the Rancor.

The SPCA said they won't sue for killing virtual animals...

I dont hound about the stickies because I have a big head about having one. I hound about them because I'm tired of the same old posts comming up 5 or 6 times a day. And that was my origional reason for making a list of commonly asked questions to begin with. (not directing that last part at anyone in particular)

Thats exactly my point. The search button and the stickies are your friends, they were put there for the soul purpose of making it easier to find the information quickly and easily.

Im glad you read them, your apparently one of the few. Just because you dont find them helpfull dosent mean someone else wolnt.

It seems that "read the stickies" and "go to the trade forums" are your favorite replies to have.

It seems that "SELLING RARE CREATURE SERUS BUYZ ONLY PLZ!!!!11!!!1" and "Hey I'm new to CH and need advice" posts are the most common types of posts. I have the same answer each time to both types of posts, so when we see less of those posts I will make less of those replies.

When you do something like this, you discount the orignal poster, and make people think that there is no reason to post information to help him.

Im not trying to discount anyone, but if the questions has been answered in both the stickies and the first 20 posts on page 1 then their is really no need to answer it again. We are here to help people not replace the brain inside their heads.

I think he can find the stickies on his own,

You would think.............

so if you have anything else to add, please add it. If not please stop treating the new CH's like idiots.

Idiots no, new and misinformed yes. The sooner we get the new people reading the stickies the better. Lets say a he becomes a rifle man next (Im just using the origional poster as an example), if he now knows to read the stickies then reads the stickies before posting he will not only find his answer much much quicker than waiting for someone to reply but he will also learn other things that he may not have thought to ask about in the first place.

how does this work??? can i gain CH xp... just by running around in the forest trying to tame wild animals? or do i gain this XP by killing things? is there a way i can continue to gain ranged weapon (i.e. pistol carbine rifle) xp while gaining CH xp at the same time (like you can when gaining scout xp.. kill something then harvest). i realize this might sound like a really noob question... but the CH xp i've earned so far is when i actually BOUGHT a pet and tamed it, then trained it in the 3 basic commands... I would really like to delve further into the CH profession i just don't know how.

also can someone tell me how i can get a mount? it doesn't seem like theres a lot of people who really know.

anybody else think it sucks that CH is a combat profession but you can't use ch xp to convert to FS xp for the combat skills. I know, drop CH, but I love my pets too much.
