The 30 second delay is a joke, what do they possibly think this does for the players other than cause more aggravation, especially for the CH community?
New mounts...that's it? Banthas are cool, but who the heck decided on Cu pas??? I don't think I have seen many requests for Cu pa mounts around here...bagerasets, rancors, mereks...all those were on the requested lists. But Cu pas? Is it because they resemble Tauntauns?
I'm pretty sure they knew which mounts they were adding this publish and the whole thing about asking us which mounts we wanted was nothing but blowing smoke up our *edits*. The number one requested mount, I'm fairly sure, was cats.

How long does it take you to find a place to drop the tent when you're standing next to a group of lairs in the wilderness? How long does it take you to go to your inventory, find the tent, and then call the camp? Maybe it is 28 seconds? Maybe it is 35 seconds? The point is that you make a 5 second sacrifice, or a 2 second savings in the time to call a pet so that EVERYONE, not just scouts, can call a pet, droid, vehicle ANYWHERE. I can't believe impatient people are making an issue out of waiting 2 seconds. It's silly when you think about it.
*cough* it takes me almost a negligible amount of time.
see, i'm smart enough to put my hide and bone into a factory and make a bunch of crates, and simply carry 2 or 3 crates of basic camps around.

I shouldn't be responding to this. But I have no idea what that means. I said "Here's information" and then posted the information? How can anyone possibly be reading devious intent into that? I didn't even say anything.
I regularly remind the Devs how the community feels about the unwarranted 30 second delay. I did so again tonight. I plan to continue doing so for the foreseeable future, or until this gets changed or better justified.
You've been doing good Vert...don't take things so personal...
*cough*
Negligible? Like 30 seconds?

Seems silly to me. I could have just as easily built a camp, set it up can called a creature previously. Now all that is different is I don't have to build a camp. 10secs is much more reasonable.

Negligable like 5 seconds. I carry camps around with me so popping a camp and calling 2 creatures and my bike is less than 10 seconds; maybe a little more if I mess up and call the wrong creature. With a 30 second rule, calling the wrong creature will cost you at least a minute.

Thunderheart will be posting the full list of major features for the next big update (Publish 7) later. In the meantime, though, here are the CH-related ones for your perusal:
· There is a 30 second delay after you call for a vehicle/mount/pet/droid before it will generate.

This is a joke, right? We can't call or store during combat. We can't store pets for 60 seconds after combat.
HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU INTEND TO ADDRESS THE SAME NON-EXISTANT PROBLEM?
For 6 months out of the last 9 we've been able to call anywhere because Mr. Integer reversed the radius around our houses to include the whole friggin' galaxy instead of the 32m(?) around our houses. No exploits resulted. The world didn't end, the economy didn't crumble (not because of THIS issue anyway) and nobody was running a revolving door of pets because there were already combat restrictions in place.
We didn't ask to trade the inconvenience of having our pets run off, teleport or otherwise abandon us for an utterly useless *new* inconvenience of wasting time defenseless in the wild every time we run into one of the above problems. We asked, demanded, debated, argued and begged to have the camp restriction removed because it didn't do anyone any good to get 3 seconds worth of survival XP once every 20 minutes.
As a CH I've traded the 3 seconds of camping for 30 seconds of doing nothing.
