Ok this just offends me. I have been a MCH now for over a year. I earned my title the long way like everyone else pre CU. But like this guy I too have always used BE pets. Yes I've gone and tamed some but this was just for the sake of taming something. The bulk of my pets has always been BE because pre CU their stats were better. Does this make me less of a MCH then someone else? NO it does not. I am just as attached to my BE pets as you are to your naturals. The most fun part of CH was always watching the pet grow for me. I used to love the longer delays at the shuttle ports because that gave me a chance to pull out my babies and play with them. I didn't care if other people noticed or not but took emense joy when people would comment at how cute my little razor cat was or what a cool name I had choosen. I've easily spent as long scouring the vendors across the galaxy trying to find the next perfect pet to fit my needs as you have in going out trying to tame elites. I spend days agonizing over the right name for my pet. I even went so far as to get the same pet in a higher level and name it the same so that my pets effectively would grow in level with me. So am I a wannabie MCH because pre CU I used only BE pets? Hell no! I earned my title same as you. I love my pets same as you reguardless if they are BE or not. My friends have questioned why I stick with CH as weak as it has been and my answer to them was that since I cannot have pets in real life...I'll have them in game. This whole notion I see from some people that if you use BE pets your not a real CH is just ridiculous, and as you can see irritates me to no end.
The only thing that matters is that you are haveing fun and to just ignore the control freaks that want to control everything inculding how people play a game and think. BE pets are fun and I do have a favorite BE pet named sixtyniner (because he was levle 69 hehe I am so lazy with names). I also have 2 maulers I like because of the rush of taming them on dath. That is the great thing about this game there is no set way to enjoy somethn no matter how much some other players want to change that.

Zorro, Zeus, Goliath, Gwenyvar, Ying and Yang, Jr and Snaggletooth (the smelliest rancors you ever got wind of), War-child, Urghala and others named and unnamed. These pets had meaning to us, they were a part of us. They suffer no more.
My husband and I have given up Master Creature Handler now. This bug did what the Combat Upgrade could not do - it droveus away from CH. It was released upon our pets with a heartless*premeditation* that leaves me breathless with scope of it. I wish not to go through it again. They can nerf TKM more,they can bork my weapons further, they can make it even harder for me to fight. But killing my pets on purpose? *shakes lekku* This I cannot fathom.
Perhaps there will come a day when the powers that be will fix this bug...that those of you who keep your pets in limbo on your datapad will once again see them run free and fight with the dignity only a tamed creature possesses. But for Iren and me, we had to end the suffering of our pets. They nowgambol andplayin the final pasture that belongs to all creatures great and small. They will live on in our memories and we will mourn their passing.
To all my fellow Creature Handlers, I bid you adieu.

My appologies. I understant that it is a sensitive topic as I witnissed it first hand with my mother and step father. I was only trying to illustrate the point that CH has been abused by SOE for a long time and we keep takeing it. I am starting to think that they will never change their attitude and actions toward us.

Ok, I could not pass this post up. I am an original CH. Yes that's right. I wasMCH Master Pistoleer 8/2003 and I know about the uber over powered 3 Rancors, 1 droid, and 3 faction NPC's times that made a MCH invincible. I totally agree with this person's opionated post as well all know, CH has been the largest nerfed profession since launch. For those flamers here, please take note, until you hunted with Digi Wraith (the first complete Rare tamer in the game) or Tivo Tenook (the ultimate CH player) or followed their loyalty to the CH profession don't bash your own profession.
They were the ones who set the bar and those who remain can only try to match their dedication to the profession. While I may get flamed, I don't really care. I've been true to the profession for over 2 years and can say, I've known the 2 best ever. Neither of them would have ever flamed this post. So to the original poster, Loki on behalf of Digi and Tivo shares your pain.

I might not have been the first to tame all the rares.. only on my server.. thats still an achievment, and i would love to tame a wormed vrobal before i leave the game as well, and at least see a greater gulginaw spawn... just becuase i wasnt the first 2 super CH as you say they were or becuase i didn't hunt with them, I loved reading tivos posts even though i couldnt work the forums. I was there, i signe dup right before the big nerf ok I wasnt a master yet, but I still had a good time. Though If they were so loyal, why are they gone? Why aren't they flaming. Don't you see. Thats all there is left to do if you seen all this, flame and rant because playing the game isnt fun anymore, and I crave going out and hunting with my creatures again, but I can't so thats why I am here rtanting away. I don't care if some of you don't like my posts, the only one I actually met in the game was Freth out of you guys.
As for the people who arn't a CH now and was one before into now, you have no right to come on these forums and act like you are right. CH has suffered alot and I know alot of you have realized this. But don't tell us that we are wrong, we are right to complain, look at our favorite profession and possibly the best profession made in galaxies.

there bacca, I summed up what you wanted to say, and just becuase your oldschool doesnt mean you have to bring up tivo or any other old CH, they don't exsist here anymore. What they did was good at the time, but tivo.. and any others would be doing the same crap we are now, trying to figure out whats wrong, listing bugs, complaining, and ranting. Nuf said.
