I will be going too. Been a CH since the beginning. I have ahd a few proffesion changes along the way but always went back to CH in the end. I love it too much.
So I will be leaving. If I wanted to play planetside I would bloody well go and play planetside.
And what REALLY get my goat is the devs new about this before ToOW. Yet they let all the CHs go out and buy the expansion knowing that:
The only reason many CHs were buying the expansion was to hunt for that necklace and tame the new animals (me included) and... They new CHs would be a dead proffession a week? after this expansion goes live. YET THEY LET US ALL BUY THE DAMN THING ANYWAY.
This is almost immoral.
I have never even heard anything like this before.

CANCELEDone account already and this one is paid up till Jan. If CH is gone so is this account.
I am NOT even a CH and will be cancelling because of this. Between me and my wife, who IS a MCH, we will be closing 4 accounts.
Great business model to avoid, the SOE one...where did these guys learn business anyway?
If they were really smart they'd just have a new set of servers for this NEW GAME. It's not sounding like it's anything like the game I purchased two years ago and changes are okay but I never heard of any of these changes or was I even involved with any of them.
It could have been easy to email all of us or have an on-line questionairre of ALL the thousands that pay to play this game.
As usual I'll wait and see but with CH gone I doubt that I have much reason to stick around.

No...there's no almost about it...
It's deceptive business practices plain and simple...
My second character in this game was a TKM/MCH...but I wanted to go jedi with that character and was having too difficult of a time so I redid my template and went BH/MCarb (and now MCM/44xxRifle/MCarb). I hated letting MCH go...but it would not be long before I was taming babies again. I started another character on Corbantis and this time I was a BH/MCH...I was hoping to hunt down Jedi with my pets...now I don't get to do that...
They've pissed me off to no end...but like with most other games I'm not willing to just cancel at the announcement of some negative changes...I always wait and see...

CH = me in this game, it is the only prof that I find I really enjoy, if it goes so do I.

Not only would I quit but I would take my $15.00 a month and run ADS in PC Gaming magazines that warn all players how SOE is only interested in our money, not our enjoyment.
