You're right of course You should have seen the look on my TKM/Master Swordsman buddies face the other morning when I logged in and he wanted to try my 52 gurreck (with HUGE kinetic resist...i'll leave you wondering) and I with his newly mastereds swords. Now granted he wasn't buffed and a wookie without the advantage of good adv comp, but by the time he was down to a sliver of health I felt obliged to stopping shot him into next week for making kneel once during the fight and causing me the hassle I was going to have to endure of having to pet stimthe gurreckback from half health afterwards .

This guy/gal PMS (or whatever) has more of a problem with Thunderheart and SWG in general by looking at some of his recent postings, than he does with anything to do with CH.

Dodece,

Why did you come to our house to tell us what to do?

We complain and rightfully so about our legitimately broken profession in the designated place. We are all Scouts as a prerequisite for CH the profession most of us chose.

Most of us also have some other adjunct combat profession. We know the ins and outs of other professions sometimes as well as our own. Does this somehow detract from the legitimacy of our complaints?

We have been lied to more than once. While some professions may face apathy from the Devs we have seen *enmity* demonstrated against us. We have been deceived and we have been handicapped and asked to like it. This is not right treatment nor is it fair treatment.

All of us with broken professions are suffering, some of us since the release of the game and others, CH among them, have been *made* to suffer later.

And above all, this is our designated place to post our opinions and our desires for our profession. No matter what form those posts might take this is where they belong. Nobody gets to tell us what we can and cannot argue or believe in regards to our profession here.

Give me a shadowed forest into which I might disappear.
Give me a terrible foe and stack the odds against me.
Give me friends and creatures with whom I can share my adventures, my losses and my gains.
Let the gales blow and the world be torn asunder but don't make me stand alone against the tempest.

Exactly how is being able to switch up pets in combat a good idea. I got what eighty thousand ham in my datapad. I should have access to that at a whim. Thats not a good idea thats a nightmare. If I fail to keep my pets alive through a battle. Then its my own dang fault. So it takes 45 seconds to store a pet after combat. If your in a town or POI dungeon. Once stored you can call a new pet. Gee I have been so wronged. I should be utterly peeved my bh took damage in that battle. Well it looks pretty bad I better wait to heal up. I should have known I was getting shafted all along. My bars should immediately refill the moment combat stops. You have a 45 second wait deal with it. Everyone else does.

This coming from the great bounty hunter that can change from weapon to weapon with only a 5 second delay, gasp, in the MIDDLE of combat. If we should be able to use your pets in the middle of combat and make it last with out changing them out, then hey, you and every other non-CH should just be able to use ONE weapon till combat is over. And you used the correct words there, If you're in a town or POI dungeon, hey Bubba Fezz, most the time we ain't in a town or at a POI, we are out running missions and out in the open hunting. (where do these people come from) If I remember right, you were the one coming in talking about how you have had no "bugs" and that CH is perfect the way it is. You got BH bug problems and issue, goto the BH forum, if you want to lie about being perfect and everyone else is making up stories of problems, then by all means, post it here, but be ready to be flamed and not whine about being flamed.

The entire logic behind the post is that you have no greater value to gripe then anyone else. There is no special entitlement for this one profession over another. Infact I am a strong beleiver in that if profession a is more broken then say a profession b. Then profession a should get the help and attention.

Everyone got mislead about something at some point. Nobodies gripe is necassarily bigger then anyothers.

Yo, Bubba Fezz, again I ask you, where in any thread has it been a topic that we've said, "CH is the only profession that has been nerfed, we are being beaten down, we are the lowly forgotten, hated profession." BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ..times up, answer, no where that I've seen. Other profs have been beaten down just as bad. Smugglers for one, BH for another. But just because you come on to our forum, after getting freed up SP and decidedto dable into CH till you take something else gives you no right to tell us not to list complaints, we have as much right as any other forum. So take your holier than thou BS and head back to BH till you can understand what you are talking about.

Hurrah thanks for stateing a point they just out right ignore when it comes from me.

The point of not calling out new pets in combat is that its utterly unfair. One of the bonuses of ch is extra ham but not 180000 ham. You get a huge chunk of extra ham added in with a moderate increase in attack power. If chs were able to just switch up points willy nilly then you can bet on some things they would simply just call out one pet after another.

Your analogy is cracked everytime I switch up a weapon my ham dosent pop back to full. Everytime you switch up a pet you get a new full ham bar. After I am done with combat hairy enough to near kill a large creature pet. I have to step back and let my bars refill. A creature pet can get replenished by 4000 points of ham useing good pet stims in a minute. I have use stim bs for a similar result for my bh. So ch gets rehealers at no added skill costs.

Another thing focusing solo on ambush situation is silly. Alot of professions are vulnerable to ambushes. If a tka gets coldcocked by a riflemen at 64 meters. The tka does start at a disadvantage. The same is true for a combat medic. If someone gets the drop on them at 64 meters. The difference is that a ch can set pets to guard. You hate not being able to call pets inside dungeons. Well dungeons are supposed to be more difficult. Do not get your pet killed and take your time of it.

Not being able to just call a pet at any moment is a good idea. People would abuse it. People would simply call two pets and tank against one thing and take turns switching out the pets. Part of not being able to call a new pet every time combat stops is part of a system to keep people from playing king of the hill. Especially in town defenses. Now I am completely dumbfounded as to exactly why you think it would be fair to have something like this. After all I am sure medics would love to be able to apply wound packs in the middle of combat. To beat off diseases and burns.

The game is based on checks and balances. You get a 10000 ham beasty you can use. Its only logical that haveing that gift comes at the price of something else. If you are just so consumed by the fear of pvp ambush you can simply go about with a generic pvp pet. You can buy these from be. I got one that has resists to all but cold and light sabre, and though the resists are not 80 percent kind of stuff. Thirty percent resists across the board is not bad.

A pet is and I repeat a combat multiplier. It multiplies your defense and your offense. It is not your soul defense and offense. Its also a multiplier with limits. You only get so much. I am sure that the melee classes would love to be coded to perfect evasions, or chefs would love to make 10000 ham boosters. Giveing a ch access to this much ham in any sort of combat situation not only goes beyond the limits of fairness. It goes beyond the limits of logic. You even have the option of combineing resists and different attacks by being able to call two pets at once.

Come back when you actually have a logical flaw. Not a wish of god hood.

Ok so the other 3 tress of smuggler are useless?
My point with that statement is if you get 1 full tree to CH there is no real benefit. You either master it or waste a bunch of skill points. All the skills were distrubuted so that would be the case.

Dodobrain,

Again, let us give your weapon HAM. Let us kill your weapon. And let us kill your weapon and you have to wait 60 seconds to pull another. You are comparing apples to oranges.

3000 Damage Special attack with BH flamethrower.
12K ham pet.

4 shots the Pet is dead (not counting burn).

200 Damage pet.
3000K ham BH.
Pet does no live long enough to kill BH.

I do not see your point. Nor any intelligent argument that even would infer a point. WE ARE NOT IN THE SAME BOAT. WE WERE NERFED TO INEFFECTIVENESS. GET YOUR HOLOGRINDING DONE AND LEAVE.

Actually three trees in smuggler are worthless. Spice is worthless food outranks it in the power it can impart. Anyone useing muon over brandy is insane. Food lasts longer. Food dosent make the user sick, and if you time it right you can reapply food in the midst of going to empty. Alright for five minutes I got 1200 off the vasarian brandy. Spice has no hope. One tree down. You got dirty fighting. Wonderful combat skills. Except if you use feighn death. Which would be most likely in a case where you are about to die. You lay there slowly refilling your bars, but upon standing up you are vulnerable for fifteen seconds. The time it takes you to stand back up. At which point the critter that has been camping you, and they all camp you they never just wonder off. Infact they never go farther then twenty meters from you. The critter is already on you pooring on damage. The shots you get arent much better. Apparantly the house always wins in swg. You would think a professional gambler. Might be able to make risk takeing profitable. If the desperation shots are good your mental. Nothing like a couple of your own shots killing you. Underworld you trade junk to jawas at the jawa outpost for next to no profit, and you can buy faction points that you cannot sell. The only thing a smuggler is good for is sliceing. Sliceing bases terminals weapons armor. Thats it an expensive crafting profession. They even get to spend a jackpoint of skill points for it. Four in unarmed four in pistols. These loveable tikes get to spend 121 skill points on sliceing weapons and armor.

Nobody contests that the smugglers get reemed, and are still getting reemed.

Pets are a multiplyer. The fact that they go down after 5 or 6 shots to a weapon they are vulnerable to. Means nothing to me or anyother combat profession in the game. Ch is a combat modifier. You want the best of both worlds. You want to be a master riflemen mch. What you just happen to ignore is that you get to use both professions simultaneously. A commando pistoleer dosent. Get to use flamethrower dx2 at the same time. Heck the devs even nerfed the dissimalar defense stacking in the game. They even put in defense caps. A multi mele fighter can stack all they like at one point it does no more good.

You got a pet that pet gives you access to additional ham. That pet gives you access to special state attacks. That pet inflicts damage on an opponet. That adds onto whatever other profession you got. Sure the bh put that pet down. It took him five single 2s. That there just ate up 300 to 400 mind pool points. That he is going to come at you with. The ham points your pet lost are now seen in the ham points that the opponent depleted putting the pet down. Now you are in a stronger position against your opponent. That there is a bonus. Especially since chs do not lose vitality in pvp anymore. Now the question is this is your master riflemen stronger then his master bh. Which by the way his master bh has been ham crippled by your pet. At the same time you were also crippling him with ham damage from you. There is no excuse at this point. In those first twenty seconds. You yes you leveled the majority of the damage. You now have the high ground. If your both buffed. If your both well armored well equiped. You have the edge. Stop crying for your fallen pet he did his damage. Now finish what you started and do yours.

This I need to pull out a new pet every time the old one got incapped stuff is pure tripe. What a bh should have to wack off nine or ten pets to get to you. So your pet was vuln to his attack. Big deal its a crap shoot. He could have just as easily stumbled on you with 55 percent electric resist graul mauler. That is the luck of the draw. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. He could get lucky or you could get lucky. Its not that the profession is weak its you is weak. If I just pulverized a graul with singles, and I realize I am being master headshoted by a riflemen. I have a serious problem faceing me. If I realize I am faceing a combat medic and he has mind poisoned me, and I seea laser rifle in his hand. I am in for it now.

There is no denying that controling a pet and your avatar in the middle of a battle with another player. That only has to focus on his range and his weapons is a difficult measure. On the other hand though you have more power, and if you can use it properly there is no reason you shouldnt win. If you go up against someone who has the exact same ranged template as you and he or she dosent have the pet. You have a very good edge. I am sorry you do not have just an inate self doing edge. I am sorry if you find that the system is too complex for you to handle, but thats your problem not the professions.

Your total professions never counted nor did any developer tell usthey did. The Devs did finally come forward and in roundabout manner admit that their lame system had been outed but without ever giving us any information we didn't already have.

Hey, Bubba Fezz, 180000 ham pet, dead in 5 seconds, ooo...BIG FRICKN' DEAL! And attack power? YEAH!!! I GET AN EXTRA 200 POINTS OF DAMAGE TO HIT MAYBE ONE OR 2 TIMES!!! Use a stim B pal, I think you'll be okay. And I'll give you 1 point for the willy nilly, would have been more, but gotta be more imaginative bro. And yeah, calling out one pet after another might be contrude as wrong, but hey, pulling out a carbine and doing a stat down with dizzy then pulling out a pistol and eye shotting me to death ain't very nice either. Oh OH, better yet, BH Pistoleer, hits me with Pistolwhip then eye shot me. SEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 2 different professions get the benefit of both, BUT ONLY USE ONE WEAPON!!!! HEY!!! We have to use 2 to get the beneift, where's the difference bro?

Your analogy is cracked everytime I switch up a weapon my ham dosent pop back to full. Everytime you switch up a pet you get a new full ham bar. WHOA!!!! Point me in the direction of these 4000 point pet stims! Most i've ever seen with pet stims are 1200 maybe 1500. Now, I will give you this, you don't need skill to use a pet stim, but however, our pets aren't the only ones getting blasted, so are we, especially if we go up and try to heal them. so while our pets might be a fresh as a daisy, guess what Bubba Fezz, we're still licking our wounds too. Why don't you do like we do, spend at least 15 points and get that novice Medic Bar and get some stim Bs.

Another thing focusing solo on ambush situation is silly. Alot of professions are vulnerable to ambushes. If a tka gets coldcocked by a riflemen at 64 meters. The tka does start at a disadvantage. "Do not get your pet killed and take your time of it." OOOOOOOO!!!! HEY GUYS, DON'T GET YOUR PET KILLED!!!! WHY DIDN'T WE THINK OF THAT!!! Man, you are just so smart Bubba. Seriously, if you were at all knowlegable at CH you would realize that in Dungeons, more times than not, pets are not a viable option, cause 1) they run off, 2) you spend more time tanking for them than visa versa 3) you spend more time healing them than fighting. Then there is the all famous AUTOSTORE!! oh wait, sorry, we made that one up, cause you have never experianced it. Let your gun autostore and see if it's fair that you can't call it back out till after combat. oh wait, all non CHs only get a 5 second delay WHILE DURING COMBAT!

Put 10k ham on your pistol there, give it the same defenses as our pets, don't let it store in combat, or allow you to change it out during combat and let us be able to target it. Then you tell me.

30% resists = 2 seconds more of life. Generic PvP pet, that a new rare that they put out there? oh wait, that must be the Ultra Tamable Rare. Get real Bubba, unless you are going after the guys in the doc line waiting to be buffed, you are gonna do 2 things, Jack and **edit**e, and Jack left town.

A pet is and I repeat a combat multiplier. It multiplies your defense and your offense. It is not your soul defense and offense. Its also a multiplier with limits. You only get so much. Come back when you actually have a logical flaw. Not a wish of god hood.

Never once did I say god hood. I actually just want a fairness to be granted. Come the Combat Rebalance we will probably have it. I dont' want it back so that all the dabblers can have 3 rancors and kicking butt. But I want to be CH and Master CH to mean something. You obviouly have no idea what you are talking about 99.99% of the time when it comes to CH Bubba Fezz, but hey, ignorance is bliss. We don't go trolling the BH forum stating that the current state of BH is fine and that we don't see any problems and we've been playing BH for a while now.

You say myanalogies are cracked, no Bubba Fezz, the only crack around here is helping you focus more obsurly through your rose colored glasses that you are attempting to put on us. I'll say it again, maybe even slowly so even YOU can understand. Keep saying what you want, but you will get flamed every time by someone till you go back and read a bit and actually learn a bit about what you are talking about.

Oh, and I believe you made a coment about only needing 5 more boxes till MCH, must be nice being a grinder. You don't know the fun of being a CH. Um hmm improvement to our profession what could they be. No more super buffs. No more super armor. No more super spam. Somehow this bringing about the fact that pet damage applied will matter more. Somehow this meaning that with each hit a pet will do more damage. Maybe even twice as much. Maybe a combatant wasteing all his specials on a pet will make them more vulnerable to yours. Gee freaking whiz that sounds like an improvement to the profession.

How could a publish that will make a pet more powerful not be tending to the ch concerns. You will get stronger, because and follow me on this hard thought to wrap your brain around. Everyone else will get weaker. You need not alter the system if by default it gets stronger. I congratulate the free flow of info to the smugglers. Who might be waiting till after jtl till it comes out. Their profession will not enjoy as much of a boost as the chs will from the rebalance.

Also you guys might want to read the name of the thread. Tells you kind of what the thread is about. The point about smugglers. Is not that is a excuse to break ch. The point is that ch is not alone in its gripes, and that some even have it worse. A ch gets a number of good bonuses. You get to be excellent at pve. You get extra ham and damage by stacking this profession on another.

So could you please think of something other to do then throw a temper tantrum. A ton of other people in line. This profession is nothing special going for it over them. Oh by the way I am not a uber grinder. See these words work around inside my skull in a thing I like to call a brain. These words come together to form logical reasoned thoughts. These thoughts can even do math. It is better for me to kill klikniks with my cowardly gurrek then to kill banthas with my cowardly gurrek. I get alot more points. I am actually tackling challenging opponents, and get this its alot more fun to put your skills to a real test then to play it safe.

By the way I said useing pet stims you can heal a pet for 4000 points in a minute. Thats a 1000 pet stim every 15 seconds. Hardly a pet out there that cannot be full barred again in a matter of minutes. The dungeons where non pet calls actually matter are also the ones that are linear. So once you clean out a room or area you can take the time to heal yourself up and your pet.

Get a clue stop fealing alone. Enjoy what the profession gives you. PVP balance issues will sort themselves out with that publish. Which alot of people cannot wait for mind you. Infact PVP is almost dead anyway just like the GCW. So at most the pvp you participate is planned out like in a duel. Stop fealing sorry for yourselves. It will do you no good. Keep a hopeful eye on the future, and enjoy what you got.
