update on this done some additional testing
testing results with closly matched ferocity pets
swamp stalker goes nuts and attacks snorbals fomr 60m (67m he ignored them) fericity is 9
rancor as above ferocity is 10
gaping spider recluse, ignored tmhe, ferocity is 8
rhow kwi packleader ignored them, ferocity is 6
gaping spider queen, went nuts at 61m, ferocity is 9
as far as i cna tell we have a cut off point around the 60-70m mark (64 woudl make a lot of sense) altohugh last weke my ss was going nuts at over 100m so either ther was a glith during my testing tnhe or the ferocity effect has bene toned down a bit
there also semes to be a cut off point at 8-9 ferocity, pets with 8 or lower seme to behave, pets 9 or highjer dont
as its possibly relevant, my species is bothna so i dont gain any bonus's for taming, ive got a +25 be shirt perminantly equipped however, if anoyne else cna do some testing(esp vs snorbals and with the above pets with a wookie or with other pets with ferocity 8 or9 vs nsorblas id love to see the results, and they might hlpe us work out whats oging on here
additinoal info
graul maulers (tested with both of mine) ferocity 10, happily ignored the snorbals so it semes creature type also is a factor in this (i stored and recalel both server atimes both alone and as a pair)

Sure, it's more realistic this way. But boy did I have a blast when I called my swamp stalker in the middle of Endor. It immediately ran away and attacked the first thing in sight. It was uncontrollable until I personnally killed all nasties in the immediate area so it couldn't attack anything else. Afterwards I gave it a good /slap. Oh, what fun, how it used to be.

I have pets with ferocity 0 that runs off and attacks everything humanoid and everything else that's not agressive. It's more likely this is a bug rather than a fix.

I did some additional tests with my GPS and was nice to see Simba begin to slowly stalk toward a herd of unsuspecting of Gurnasets.
I had to just sit there and watch in amazement as it got closer and closer and closer....
Well needless to say by they time Simba got there the Gurnaset was lunch while I was standing back cheering from a distance.

actually milteck they wont stay for long..last night when i was taking screenies of the 2 gps's, i minimized the game to post on the forum..when i got back the baby had stayed put, but the adult had eaten about 7 murras and was still munching when i pulled the game back up
i had a heck of a time getting one of my be narglatches to stop aggroing kaadus last night lol. It got rediculous after a while (my alt MCH does not have macros yet lol)

Are you sure that GPS randomly attacking nearby targets wasan intended result of a high ferocity level? I've never been able to discover exactly what purpose, if any,the ferocity level servesas regards our pets. Am just curious.
it is more of a wild animal trait I think, that happens to flow over to our pets. That is my take on it as it makes the game world more dynamic andunpredictable. Which is nice.
