I have to agree with Milteck's list. I might switch the regular gurreck for theMDH though... theMDH may be harder to find, but I've only ever seen 1 gurreck baby (the one I tamed) and I rarely ever see adults (only seen perhaps 3 spawns ever) - and I've spent a ton of time on Endor the past few months. I think for a natural, usable pet, the gurreck is still one of the best (intimidate rules all other specials in my book as it 1. works 2. works consistently 3. cuts damage 50% 4. is spammable).
I also don't care for the mereks much myself. I've had a TMB named Quasimoto, but I never found much use for him compared to other pets. He was usually a third or fourth stringer in my pet rotation (and I rarely get beyond second string before I've healed the starters). TMBs are good for their level during the CH grind, but once I hit master I found less use for them- whereas I still use my gurreck as part of my dewback mount/gurreck guard hunting combo.

That's a tough one .... though i did find my Gurreck (and prowling) on my first search on Endor .... the MDh i got from Gaen, who was lucky enough to find 2 on one trip

4) MDH -damge plus poison/disease? who can argue with that

I really don't use my Screechers that much - so that's why they didn't make the list.

Frenzied Graul!
Never found a Bull Rancor baby, got two Screechers but the plague just takes too long to really work well, I assume it will be the same thing when using a Bull. The FG just has amazing stats for my style of play, I inherited an old one.
I think I would put FG in spot 1, TMB in spot 2 because they are great overall pets.
I don't use other natural pets, BE pets are fine with me. Taming in the wild or from a deed makes no difference to me, I just want some nice pets. I know that some like natural only or BE only, but we can all agree that CH is a dang fun profession.

Just a bit of luck here but in one night about 5hrs total i tamed a Mantigrue Screecher, a Rancor, a Arachne Webmaster, Greater Sludge Panther, and a Arachne Warrior, as well as a niceEnraged Reptilian Flyer, and a Blurrg. Crazy as it may sound i did...

I disagree with Kitoth on the Toxic Merek Battlelord. I team him with a Boar Wolf, which is a great pet also for being as low level as it is great combo I actually have 2 of each.As for" Intimidate "Graul Maulers, Gaping spiders, Rancorand Gurrek all have it But they have no Ramged attack.TMB does and why the Boar wolf is Tanking away; I can sit back with the TMB and a nice rifle and lay the smack down on anything.And if something rushes in he has the armor and the resist to go toe to toe with them also.So it has a use if you know how to use the TMB wisely;In a group.And utilize his ranged attack.

I put screecher as # 4 on my list because of its plague attack special which is an area disease. Because of that special is why it ranks # 4.

The list is for tamable creatures and because the ch community agrees this creature is bugged and not spawning it is why it has been ommitted from the list.
If the frenzied graul was again tamable it would be either 1rst or 2nd on my list.

Ya the area attack can be a double edged sword tho. Generally I end up with just one pet out tanking whatever I am fighting. In that instance I feel that the MDH with 2 dots and great damage will do better than the screecher - for my style of play.
