Thread: Suggestion concerning max lvl of pets.

Maybe we also get crafters the ability to craft body armor for our pets. And Titanium claws for extra damage. And they could become force sensitive, too. Oh, and we should be able to craft those nifty shield generators that fambaas could carry. And DE's could craft cybernetic limbs that could improve their stats and abilities. And, if they were L85, we could group with them to get their CL. I'm sure that CH wouldn't become the FotM then, because people find pets just sooooo annoying to have.

Seriously, if pets could reach L80 - L85, then suddenly a L54 MCH could travel anywhere a L80 ( double-mastery ) could travel (like Dathomir), with little or no risk. While my planned MCH/MAS/Art 4-44 would be all in favor of this, it does seem a little unfair to the legions of L80 characters who had to spend a lot more skill points for the same effect.

L70 "feels" about right to me, in that a grouped L70 with a L80 loses the level difference penalty. Creatures in general could probably use some "beefing up" of damage output ( or damage reduction ) for their CL, as I would think a L70 critter should be able to generate about as much DPS as a L70 character. Hopefully the new specials system will make a L70 creature as viable as a L70 player, but we'll see about that.
