i want to address this also.
i bought a BE'd gurreck and he will be vastly superior to my time one stat wise in the area of resists. im not disputing that. it will make krayting much easier for me. but what i am saying is that wild pets that we tame do not suck nearly half as bad as a large portion of CH on these boards would have you believe.
people seeing me and my gurreck in action always comment on how effective we are and ask where they can get a cat like that. there have been MANY occasions where i have been incapped or killed trying to save FleaBus from death. to me he is not a weapon or a piece of walking armour. he is my companion in the hunt. we are a team that works very well together. but he will be retired from krayt hunting when ChewToy is full grown. i dont feel bad about using a BE pet since i had him made to be around the same level 52 as opposed to 50 the same basic HAM with the only difference in greater resists.
so the question of which is better... well of course the best of the BE pets can be better than anything that can be wild-tamed. the whole point is that wild tames are NOT that bad and only slightly less in power to a BE one...
i thnk some folks are taking the title of the post too literal
