Since there was at least one pet that already did this before Pub 24 (the famous bloodseeker mite queen), I don't think this is a bug. Why should an animal suddenly lose an ability, just because it runs after some guy with snacks in his pocket?

Also, I don't see how this makes our ability system useless, as long as not all pets have access to all abilities without trains.

I also only used my BE Kimo last night, and didn't notice any unusual states on my targets, might this be confined to wild pets? Maybe to balance them a bit vs. the better damage of BE ones?

Because they would never let a bug found in Beta, go live

I noticed my shear mite soldier baby cl70 was using bleed and imperilling feint last night - they are not his stated ability. I hadn't taught him any state attacks yet as I am levelling him up to be a tank. I think wild pets must now come with abilities which are randomly used and I intend to test all my pets to see what they have. Then I can consider what to teach them as an extra. I hope these wild abilities are as intended as it would be annoying if I decide NOT to teach my shear mite bleed because I think he already has it.

lvl 12 wrix can make bleed attacks although its special is imperiling feint 1. lvl 8 minor swamp cat with no specials does the same thing.

One other possiblity, I was working two bio rancors last night, the exibited NO specials. But this comment got me thinking. with teh new patch, is it possible that ANY UNTRAIND pet, whethere be or natural will exibit these behaviors? I havent tried working any of my pets that are be just siting waiting to be used, will try that later tonight I guess. something to think about. I woudl hate to have to go back and make MORE pets..it was fun, but a pain dieing all the time.

Its probably a bug, since wild creatures now use specials (in fact, they use specials that their species wouldn't normally have if you tame them even). They probably forgot to remove them from pets, and it'll probably be fixed sometime in the future. If not, then all of the triggerable abilities are pointless, because the pet will use them randomely anyway.

As much as I agree with you training them with Hamstring or another ability that is triggering at random does not negate the ability to trigger it when you want unless it has already been used and is under the timer restrictions of that special.
If they do not remove wild AI from our tamed pets new thought will be used by our profession to maximize the effectiveness of our pets. I for one am looking forward to this addition as long as it lasts.
