I agree except for the BE boycott. Your assuming they don't want to support CH already

This is probably the most important part of the suggestion and it should also include not training any non-ch pets for anything. We all know that if the problem is CH only it is ignored but if the problem has an impact on non-ch's it is dealt with quickly. Let the BE's train their 3 commands with Novice CH and then they might understand how hard it is to get the XP to train anything useful.

Count me in. If you are not a friend of mine, this MCH is out of the training business.

Oh, but it was a BE Gur with 60% Kinetic, and Strong poison - err guess that'll have to wait.

But as a Master BEand Master CH (CH first) I really think they should clarify a lot of things including your points for CH and BE, not a boycott of a class.

Guys, I fully empathize, but I don't see it doing a bit of good.

The Galaxies management team seems in such total disarray, I can't imagine they'll ever get around to doing much positive for CH. They're in the middle of 'fixing' (and I use this term extremely loosely) the Droid Engineers at the moment, and the confusion at the heart of THAT issue is so apparent with every single thing they do, I'm not sure I even *want* their attention directed at CH, or any other profession I'm using.

Across the board, I have no desire except that they fix all the broken crap in this code that they have inexcuseably let persist since Beta. Structural & balancing changes have only broken more things each and every time. I don't want a balance, I don't want somebody else nerfed, I just want them to get a big prybar and pull their head out of where it's wedged to show a smidgen of concern about QUALITY in this game.

Before it's way too late.

With MMOGs, it's way too late before whoever it was says "Hey, why don't we make an MMOG about..."

New content is nice but fixing the existing content is better.

I'm in in the sense that I want the bugs fixed, but I also work for a software company, and I'm not sure what or how having a tread demanding action plays in the grand scheme of things. So, to comment:

Pluto9Moon wrote:

1) A public apology from TH for P*ke comments.

2) An explanation from someone as to why there is a timer for CH weapons.

3) A fix for Autostore.

4) A fix for ranged/specials.

5) A fix for pets not following and pathing issues.

6) A standardization of BE pets.

7) A better communication system that readily shows Devs are aware of bugs.

8) No new content until the major bugs are fixed.

9) A dialogue on Pet Storage Facilities.

10) Any of the 20+ bugs/issues in Verts thread are acknowledged, fixed or discussed.

1) Okay, I know this is insulting and, to some, very demeaning especially for those who have held this occupation FAR longer than I have; however, as a point of order, I had a nOOb CH get some training from me today and said, very non-plussed, "This CH thing is so much like Pokemon or whatever that cartoon was." My only comment was "Don't let any long term CH hear you say that."

2-6) You go, man. Absolutely.

7) We can dream. Is there ANY group that gets this? This is a serious question. I'm too dang new to this game, but the few forums I've browsed ALL seem to lament their lack of feedback and interaction with the devs. When I enter these forums, I often just see it as a place for mutual carping about one thing or another. I mean, how much of these posts would a dev have to read to actually find something of worth? It's there. I've read them. But gads, only Usenet has a signal to noise ratio like this (i.e., mostly noise, very little a dev could sink their teeth into). I'm not discounting how passionately people feel about this. I feel pretty passionate about being a CH myself. I can't turn loose of my first mount for heaven's sake. I can't. It's still in the datapad and worthless as they come (okay, yeah, they are ALL worthless, but you get my point). I like being a CH. Some of the bugs drive me nutzo, too. But short of us having access to, say, a bug submission system? I'm not going to hold my breath for direct interaction or even one-removed interaction. Go for it, but save your silver bullets for 2-6.

8) Reality is that this will never happen because the devs don't make this decision. The marketing people do. I see this argument at my office all the time. The "devs" here want to fix the dang bugs. The "marketing" types want to drive sales. To THEM, as long as the "churn" is acceptable (not too big), then they continue to add content over bug fixes. Oh, yeah, we can all resign or quit, but even if that does send a message, we won't be around to see the answer to it. This doesn't make it right, but the reality is, well, marketing/sales makes these decisions, not the devs. They may, in fact, BE on our side, but the "suits" won't let them stop pushing new content.

9) Go for it. Add this to 2-6, but I don't have a problem with the current system (but, then, I'm not holo chasing either with the intent to come back). I'll do CH for as long as I like it. After that, I'll do something else and either sell my pets or give them away. Having my own private zoo would be nice to show off my, say, rare's or uber BE's. I'm too new to truly understand this request. I'll take it on faith because many of you are driving for it.

10) Knowing that a bug was submitted and assigned would go a long way towards satisfying this (heck, even give us a tracking number so we can get consistent updates on known bugs, even if you don't give us submission capabilities). The old rules apply: If you can't give me a date when the bug will be addressed, give me a date when you will decide the date.

Those are my thoughts. I agree, wholeheartedly, that I want the bugs fixed and problems addressed. I got a pack full of animals that I rarely use since I'm a TK and they, in general, now steal points from that grind. They only come out if I think I'm going to be in over my head and I need something to pull something off of me or someone asks for an MCH to go on a Krayt hunt (cannon fodder, and since I'm a TK, I fall into that category as well -- misery loves company it seems).

Anyway, good luck, and I hope this gets seen and responded to, but I'm not going to hold my breath

I totally agree with your frustration, but if I truly /bugged or /reported an incident with my pets each and every time it happened I would SERIOUSLY be doing that more than actually playing. This is absolutely the truth, not even close to an exaggeration. Every time my pets didn't follow, or they poofed? Heh, I'd kill myself, so I'll stick to a onceper night per each problem.

Now that I can call them back without finding a house/city/place to camp I will be sending in a LOT more myself maybe will keep it to 2-3 per prob per nite so i can get some play time.

If they were to take away our pet timer in battle and increase the effectiveness of our pets they would have to take away our ability to use weapons at the same time to bring us in line with the other elite prfoessions.
