If the developers hate the idea of it SOUNDING LIKE (Not that it actually isn't like that at all) a CH has control of a pet stronger than the character itself, why don't they just put a cap in CH making it so no one below or at CL 70 can have a pet higher than CL 70, and as your CL gets nearer to 80 and your SP investement into combat professions increases, you gradually go up to the CL 80 calling level?

Your assuming a CH that wields a weapon is better at controling creatures than a CH who doesn't? I think my BE/CH would have a better chance at controling an animal simply because he doesn't use them as weapons like you do.

Excuse me, but whatis the other CH role? OH! I remember, Im gonna teach my pets the "Pick flowers" command.
EDIT: Yes, because the Lion tamer with the whip doesn't get eaten.... Most of the time.

How does your theory fit into the fact all BE pets are Non-Agressive? If this was implimented, perhapssome would, but I wouldn't make anything over CL70 simply because I wasn't alloud to control it and I can already tell you this would cause a heated dibate on the BE forum. BE/CH is a pretty common title, but were restricted to around CL58. I have some ranger skill, but that only makes me CL60.
But then again, I'm probubly the only BE who refuses to make Kimogilla, Rancor, Razorcat, Graul, and Narglatch because of their overuse by the CH comunity. Not to meantion I won't craft for anybody unless they give me a good name during the creation process.

Aggression when concerning a pet, regardless of what it says when you examine a pet, is completely determined by the Master commanding the pet. If the Master is aggressive, so is the pet. Impossible to reflect the converse in game. The pets AI couldn't possibly be coded for a tamed animal to have it's on "aggressiveness" or a "mind of it's own". If it were possible, then we would have pets randomly attacking things in spite of a Creature Handlers commands (granted bugs sometimes make it seem this way anyway

Guess the actualle "agression" statistic we BE know of doesn't fall under your catagory. To be honest, my CL60 character uses more powerful beast more often that most Combat/CH. My CL70 Bol goes everywhere with me and can handle almost anything on it's own, even though I can heal him if he gets in a bind. I can't take on CL80's with him, but he does well with relitivly high CL critters.
Regardless, my Bol is as agressive as any of your pets. I should know, I made and raised him on my own.
