Seems to be two growth cycles per day.
I was able to train as a mount a CL18 dewback in just 2-3 days. Once it reached CL5 the train as a mount command became active even though the thing was still baby sized. I trained it, put on my storm trooper armor and rode it around town.I gotsome funny looks since my feet were almost dragging on the ground and my dewback was only the size of a large dog. My wife saw this over my shoulder and could not stop laughing.
A creatures ability to be saddled depends on it's size. A dewback, bantha, bol, etc.... will be able to take a saddle sooner because they are inherently larger. whereas a cu pa or kaadu takes almost full growth to allow it. THis is why things like Savage Humbabas and Giant Carrion Spats can be mounted immediatly.
And you can trust me on this. I train at least 8 mounts a week.
