Thread: Baby Growth
For the love of all that is sane, the thread right beneath this one that asks the same question.
Nothing you can do, just wait for them to grow.
Well, that thread (which I admitedly didn't see) asked if there was a way to make babies grow faster. My question dealt with if baby growth was random or species dependant. They are two different questions.
My question is will baby sludge panthers ALWAYS grow faster, or Cu Pas ALWAYS grow slower? This may become relevent when mounts are introduced as you will want good mounts that mature fast, and it is presumed that nothing you do can affect thier growth rate.
I guess I'll see for myself and go grab another panther, as it should be quick to see how fast it grows if it was anything like my last one.
It seems random based on the person who has it/them.
I tamed 4 Gurreks within 30 minute time span and mine were all 7600 or so out of 11200 where one I gave to a friend is already full. A full day later mine were at 8650 or something.
All three of mine are the same ham and always have been. So it can't be each is random with growth, or they wouldn't all be the same ham and grow at the same time.

I had something occur today above and beyond recorded growth rates.
I had a baby rancor mature to level 50 in under twenty minutes.
I was on dath, tamed one, went down for dinner and on TC3-EP it had grown to level 50...first pet I'd gotten in TC....
To help us test, tc3 has accelerated pet growth, the grow full size soon as you store and call them after taming.
on a side note, Ive got 3 gretaer Sludge Pnathers as my chosen pets, just like the old days, well, aside from none of them having health, they dont want to attack any other sludge panthers at all, they cant tank for me as they lose aggro soon as I hit once with a rifle...
But apart from that, just like the old days
