Thread: Publish 6, my findings so far
I don't see how anybody who called a pet or droid could avoid noticing the way they all stack up on your head now (I'm a wookiee, they stack up in my crotch).
It really was making it hard to loot stuff, feeding pets and targeting a specific pet for heals was an exercise in frustration. I had to park my pets elsewhere, set them in formation (both of which get broken with the next command you give, so constantly have to be reset) or simply run around so that I can target something while my pets are still running up to sniff my crotch. Multiple pets just mean they run sideways, and two pets of the same model act like some bizarre Star Wars version of Shiva, which is more than a little odd looking.
I don't think is a dna thing... with out fail all of my pets stood there ground fighting spineflaps... queens, guards, soldiers and handmaidens, 5 or 6 at a time and stand there and take it.. however a single guallama or even a hermit spider would cause running. also, all of my pets stood until death in one spot while facing nightsisters in the slave camp cave. The only pets I own that did little or no running against anything were my flyers: spineflap guard and mynocks.
I have to agree with a poster in another thread it is some sort of attack range issue. consider that most pets stand inside of you now.I have watched my pet and critter run past each other twice while trying to engage each other after the attack command is issued. Add these two things to the pet and critter running all over damaging each other... It has to be an out of range issue.
